I have just joined and only to spread the words that we (IBD) are accepting new subscriptions. We are the source of free Indian novels. Some of you might be knowing us from the other forum, for rest needs an introduction. So here we go, We are Desi Books Releasers, all Indian stuff - Only Indian Authors, Indian-Origin Authors, or books that are in any way related to India. We cover most of the books.

How to file a service request with Standard Chartered India

I have to get mom's credit card canceled. I spent 10 minutes on a phone call (not toll-free) only to be informed that their systems were down so they cannot process my request. Contacted StanChart India on Facebook… They gave this URL to file a service request. Hoping for a quick resolution.

MTNL Broadband is inserting Adphonso powered malware on all customer devices

I have MTNL ADSL broadband in Delhi. Today I saw this popup on the side when I connected online (I removed my telephone number from the image):

After looking for the inserted code, I discovered that MTNL is inserting iframes inside the webpages!

 

The popup is being loaded from http://www.adphonso.com/testmtnl.php?CSID=22221504@mtnl

 

(I changed the telephone number in the URL above) More scrips are inserted from MTNL address 203.94.243.40

 

The adphonso website belongs to an adversiting company and that is a big problem :(

 

 

Are you guys seeing this sort of popups too? If yes, do you think is it safe?

 

I think this way inserting codes inside webpages is not good for the privacy of users.

You know how it goes, you buy a phone on eBay, and it comes with a developer / pre-release version of a major mobile OS. Well, if these images are to be believed, that's at least what happened to one bargain-hunting Windows Phone fan. The screenshots -- said to be taken from a Nokia 920 -- show Windows Phone 8, but with a few new tweaks and features. Most notable, will likely be the notifications, but other tidbits include App list ordering based on frequency of use, week view in the calendar and the option to kill apps from the multitask screen. The phone reports a build number of: 12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407 leading some to infer that this version could have been compiled sometime in May. A tease of something to come? As always, hard to tell, but expect the price of second-hand 920s to bump up a little, for the next few weeks at least.

Vodafone , idea  removing roaming between mumbai and maharashtra.Stop llooting from customers treat mumbai and maharashtra as one circle.If any of the telecom authorities are listening please give ONE MNC for complete maharashtara including mumbai like in case of chennai and tamilnadu its done.Mr maran removed artifical barriers between chennai and tamilnadu  from 2005 what about mumbai and maharashtra  forgot to do it.From 2005 customers of mumbai and maharashtra are being looted in the name of roaming given the fact that only incoming is free between mum and mah from these operators what about the outgoing charges they are like so high and different.If nothing is done then initiative will be taken to ban these operaotrs who dont treat both circle as one circle and  provie home tariff as one circle.

i bought something up of ebay.in and i want to cancel it , contacted seller via phone email ebay and he said he will cancel it and i will get refund ....... Just in case : if he ships the thing and i refuse the delivery and claim on ebay that i have not received the item , will i get my money back.....? or just telling them that i have not got it is  enough for money back ....... ? i am really scare because it is 4k in cost .. :-/ or am i screwed up ?

The country's second largest mobile devices company Micromax has now started manufacturing handsets at its Rudraprayag facility in Uttarakhand. "Micromax has manufacturing plant in Rudraprayag where it manufactures LED and tablets. Dear Admin Please try to resolve my issue please my user id is 10795420 and i have used this broadband service from the last two months before that i had reliance . First problem that is they do not have a toll free number shame on them being such a big service provider they do not have a toll free number second problem they customer care team do not respond to customer queries at all they are very very arrogant and impatient thirdly they are not up to the mark in the market . I am unable to open face book in my google chrome brower secondly i am not able to access utube videos when i call up for the first time they told me my limit is over wtf they are giving me wrong information i am calling them from the last 3 days wasting me currency secondly my usage is 13.57 gb some stupid ass hole tech guy took romote access of my computer and did not any thing at all i was with him on the phone for one hour i asked him for his qualification he told me that he is some be in computer science he must be having some fake degree i think please please think twice before reffering some one to act really really worst service in the town if this was us i would have suied the company really stupid people do not know customer service at all i think reliance was much better than this one really some times i think so do not spoil your name in the market or your companies name in the market please . give better service .,
