It is not known whether the smartphone will feature a MicroSD card slot, but the lack of one will surely be a deal breaker for most consumers as 4GB of internal memory is very low for modern smartphones. On the software side, the smartphone is reported to be running Android 4.4.2 out of the box unlike the Moto G which was launched with Android 4.3.   The leaked 124.8 x 64.8 x 6.2mm physical measures of the Moto E are truly impressive. The handset will be significantly more elegant than both the Moto G (11.6mm thick) and the Moto X (10.4mm thick). The Moto E is tipped to arrive in the coming weeks on the Mexican wireless carrier Telcel with the model number XT1021. You can now use your phones and laptops on air travel in Airplane Mode Posted: 24 Apr 2014 02:37 AM PDT Now, you can use mobiles, laptops in flight mode within India | NDTV.com   This has now become possible with the DGCA today amending the rule which bans use of portable electronic devices (PEDs) and allowing their usage in all phases of flight but on a non-transmitting or flight mode, official sources said. With the implementation of the new rule or Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR), flyers can now turn on their cellphones, tablets or laptops on 'flight mode' to work, play video games, listen to music, watch pre-loaded movies or type their emails. The mails would, however, be sent only after the plane lands at an airport.

Airtel online booking- reg. Posted: 24 Apr 2014 02:15 AM PDT Hi guys   I booked a new Airtel broadband connection by paying them Rs 500 online, yesterday. This 500 is the cashback amount.  In their website it is mentioned as "a customer who pays online should not pay any amount to any FE or airtel executive - who commits reversal or do not have online CAF number which gets generated online –".    Today, I got a call from one of their executives. They want me to pay 500 as a security deposit again. So I called up airtel customer care where they said that I do no pay the cash to the executive as I have already done it online and this 500 rupees will be waived off in the first month bill. I called the executive and said whatever the customer care guys told me. However, the executive says that the cash that I pay to him will be deducted in the first month bill and the security deposit which I have paid online will be sent through DD/ cheque to my home. He also said that he does the same for all other customers.    Guys, please help me. Is the Airtel Executive true? Should I pay him 500 rupees, even though I paid online already? Do any of you guys have prior experience about it?   I stay in thambaram east, chennai.    Sorry for my bad english.   Cheers Vignesh.

Select Addon channels/Packs will undergo price revision in April. Press help on your rmote for details.   I hope TS needs to understands price sensitive Indian market and act accordingly. TS can't increase prices now and then as per there wish. This will gonna loose many customers.   I hope we have portability in DTH also like MNP in mobile.

ACT Broadband Bangalore Reviews Posted: 24 Apr 2014 01:23 AM PDT Hello Readers, My name is Vivek Sinha Anurag and i am going to post some "great" work shown by Act Broadband. I applied for ACT Broadband 5 Mbps plan [its having cap value of 35GB after that speed will reduce to 256 kbps] by calling their customer care on 16th Aug 2011. I was surprised to see their lightening fast response as the representative came to my doorstep the very next day and on 17th Aug 2011 Mr Ashitt O.S. collected the money and documents and told me that withing 5 days i will get my connection and i even got sms confirmation that my request no is 142263. Now the real story started. Even after 6 days no one ever bothered to check my request so i called customer care [ 080-42840000] to remind them and i was told that i will get it withing next 2 days. I waited for next 2 days and called them again. I was surprised to learn a new technical term from them that they are "Uploading network" hence its taking time and soon i will get my connection. Since my work was getting affected because of their delay i applied for a BSNL connection too. Now today is 5th September and i am still waiting for the connection and to my surprise i got the BSNL broadband last week. I tried escalating this matter and asked the customer care for any high level contact and they said that i need to mail helpdesk@acttv.in. I emailed them but i got no response. Please note some points regarding ACT broadband before applying ACT broadband 1. They dont have nodal officer/appellate authority [against TRAI rules and i have already escalated this matter to TRAI officials with the help of pgportal.gov.in] 2. They have a customer base of 2500 users in bangalore and they are not able to manage even this small number. 3. They DO NOT PROVIDE STATIC IP [even if they claim to do so] 4. Their customer care service is useless. All you will losse is your balance by talking to them 5. They can "Upload network" [You can imagine the understanding capability of their technicians] 6. They are fast in collecting money but lazy in delivering service Final conclusion: To be on safe side stay away from them else you will suffer like me. Morning shows the day and even before using their service i am suffering. Don't know what will happen when i get the connection and i face any problem that time.

Have been using You Broadband Services in Anna Nagar and the experience with them was just awesome   So far I have contacted You broadband, Sify, Tikona, act, Reliance, AIrtel and bsnl. Except bsnl and airtel, none others have service in my area. Docomo guys aren't picking up the call. I am a heavy internet user, I am doing a media course which demands heavy downloads and online video lessons. Is there any other ISPs operating in my area? Please help me out guys. Posted: 23 Apr 2014 11:07 PM PDT Its almost been 25 days, having paid for adavnce 3 months i have not got the connection.   Customer service is a waste - Even MTNL is better than YOU. They would either not pick, put you on hold and never return or make false promises. even the Nodal officers don't care to pick.   And the worst part i was made to pay the money - with the promise that feasibility check has been done and connection would be installed in 2-3 days.   Whats is the point in dealing with a company which is only based on lies and total lack of Ethics.   I wish i would have read their Facebook page before paying them. A split AC for comfortable cooling 1 TON Posted: 23 Apr 2014 09:57 PM PDT So we have a 2 T here that draws insane amount of power and usually just fails to turn on when its most needed, because it just doesn't get enough Volts to start. We have only about 180-190V here at peak power draw(usually 10-12 PM).    And when it is ON, it gets way too cold as the room is quite small for a 2T AC. It's a voltas Vertis Gold, btw! We're looking for a 1 TON AC, preferably with high EER and low power consumption that provides comfortable cooling, not bone chilling like the one we have now.    Preferred brands are Bluestar, Samsung, Hitachi, Haier   Avoid Voltas due to bad experiences.    Anyone have any idea?   Budget about 25k, can be higher

Posted: 23 Apr 2014 08:42 PM PDT WHAT DO U THINKS BRO ABOUT THE TRAI WIRELESS BROADBAND MINI SPEED PLZ LET ME KNOW -   - - - i think for 2g networks normal speed upto 2 gb data is 256 kbps (28-32) kbps thought idm and after fup it should be 144 kbps (12-15) kbps NOT THE (40 KBPS) -- and for 3g normal speed (like plane 650 ul idea e.g.) it will be 900 kbps to 1.2 mbps upto 3gb after the fup it will be 512 kbps (70-73 kbps) NOT ONE THE (80 KBPS UPTO 1GB THEN 20 KBPS E.G. The Lytro Illum looks like something out of a museum or a designer piece from a Parisian fashion house. It's a sleek and stylish thing, with a unibody magnesium chassis that's attached to a gorgeous anodized aluminum lens barrel equipped with both zoom and focusing rings. The grip and aforementioned rings are wrapped in what appears to be silicone rubber, which is supple enough to be kind to our hands and fingers. Over on the top right by the grip is a large shutter button along with a Lytro button that offers a visual depth assist histogram (more on that later). Rounding out the physical controls are two adjustable dials (they default to setting the exposure and the ISO, but you can customize them), lock buttons for both autofocus and autoexposure and a couple of other programmable keys. Sitting atop the camera is a hot shoe that'll fit any standard flash, while the SD card slot and USB 3.0 port are on the left side in a hidden compartment. The Illum has built-in WiFi for wirelessly transmitting those living light field images to Lytro's servers.
