Best wifi router for MTNL Mumbai.... Posted: 15 Mar 2014 01:41 AM PDT Hey guys you need to help me for this...     1. I am basically from Mumbai and I am looking out for the bestt best wifi route that  MTNL supports....budgetis not a constraint just need the best as I need to give online trainings so need a wifi one....   2. I am confused between a wifi router and wifi modem kindly explain and which one to opt for , I would even like to use net on mobile as well.

Bsnl change in the middle of the month Posted: 15 Mar 2014 12:04 AM PDT I m moving from combo 650 to combo 640(Bangalore region only). I have already used around 4 gb in 650 plan. How are they go one their pro rata basis since both are unlimited plan.

New BBG 795 plan from BSNL (Not so great) Posted: 14 Mar 2014 11:54 PM PDT http://chennai.bsnl.co.in/News/BBGULD795.htm   795 - 2 mbps for 8 GB & 512 kbps beyond.    Basically, they have cloned the 900 plan & removed the 350 calls & made it as per existing landline plan. Might turn to be expensive if you dont have a higher range landline plan. If you are in the 900 plan, you are better off continuing perhaps On a second glance, looks like they have brought back the stand alone BB plan of 800, but instead of 1 mbps till 6 GB, they have replaced it with 2 mbps till 8 GB & reduced Rs.5 to that plan.. People on BB Home ULD 800, should probably look to migrate to this one. But yeah, better read the fine print to make sure you are not loosing something..

I was billed for standard time rate bsnl broadband, which is not understandable as my usage is within limit. what is standard time rate ? Windows XP does not boot normally Posted: 14 Mar 2014 10:49 PM PDT Dear Friends,   I have an old Toshiba laptop. 6 years old to be precise although it has ben working fine with Lubuntu on it. Here is my laptop.   Toshiba Equium L10-273 Model no. PSL17E - 009008AV   http://www.toshiba.co.uk/discontinued-products/equium-l10-273/   Intel® Celeron® M Processor 360 1.4 GHz 40 GB HDD 512 MB DDR RAM (originally it had only 256 MB RAM, but I upgraded it to 512 MB within 1 week of purchase of the laptop) DVD-RW   I have managed to install Win XP Pro on it with all the drivers, but it does not boot normally instead whenever it boots it gives me many options just like the ones shown in link below. I have to choose Start Windows Normally each time I boot my laptop, which was never the case earlier. Please help me.
