| New connection help with recharge Posted: 04 Feb 2014 02:40 AM PST I recently got BSNL EVDO connection and i recharged rs 20 using paytm.com it was successful and i got 6 month extended validity, next i tried to recharge rs 55 1 day pack and transaction failed, next i tried 100 rs top up it failed too. i used data card option when tried to recharge in all the three cases. please help me with it i am totally new to EVDO. Should i use mobile section instead of datacard and then stv? |

| Posted: 04 Feb 2014 01:48 AM PST We are planning to buy Airtel Lease Line of 2 MBPS (1:1). What is the maximum number of concurrent users it can support at one point of time. I'm currently using 3 broadband connections (8 MBPS each) but the speed is not that great.
Also, I'm using WIFI for all 3 connections, so will the speed improve if I change it to LAN.

Now checking how to get a replacement.  Looks like this is going to be an experience that would match my dealings with Dell. What a mess. Open Gallery in New Tab -- Amazon.in website is complicated. The language is messed up. Amazon does not offer replacements as an option except for Kindles. I have no idea what this means. Kindle does not seem to have any option for replacement. So picked the option for a refund. Let's hope this is processed without any issues. --- Ok. Another confusion. How do I find out if this is the first generation Kindle or the second generation Kindle because this:  Bought the Vish Puri book as planned. Already read 10% of it. Feels alright. |

I'm really considering act after my terrible experiences with Reliance net connect+ that thing is a piece of s#@% after fup speed hovers around 128kbps. |

Has Anyone used (tried) , the 8 mbps plan in Mulund East (Mithagar) Area ? This plan is being offered on normal DSL . Does it give promised speed ?
I think I am exactly 1 km travel wise from the exchange but I am not sure how to measure 1 km ? Is it the length of the line or something ? T Thanks in advance for any reply ! |

My Oct,2013 month usage : 54.18 GB My FUP limit : 60 GB (ACT Indulge plan)
My speed was reduced to 512 Kbps on Oct 27th and again on December 29th even before reaching FUP Limit. I called customer care several times. They said the usage details are ''delayed" by 24 Hrs and I may have reached the FUP Limit at server (Pathetic and I accepted because I don't have proofs) I've proofs with the total usages which I got from "My usage". Every time when my usage is around 54GB, my speed goes to 512Kbps I've suffered with Low Speeds. from 25 Mbps to 512 Kbps even before reaching FUP Limit??? Guys! Beware of ACT or if you already have ACT, keep watching your "My Usage" |

Beaware of the ploy ACT Broadband is using to fish innocent customer money. I recently took internet connection for my house near Hulimavu. Before that i was using 2Mbs plan from airtel in BTM. So i know 2Mbps is more than enough for 480p videos and went ahead with the same 2Mbps 30Gb ACT Plan. Now i am just unable to stream a single video from youtube even at 144p. Customer care is WOEFULLY bad. The guys think deleting cookies and tmp directory will increase speed and have no idea whatsoever of how internet works.
Now worst part is they took advance 1398 also. Now even if i discontinue my connection i know for sure it would be a HUGE pain in the a** to get one month rental back which i gave as security and one will eventually give up.
I am sure many would be facing this too. So yea, ACT is not a very good idea.
Another problem is with flash based speed checkers like speedtest.net now the problem with speed test is it does'nt take into account the disconnects or jitter in connection. So using testmy.net which has servers in US i got 70Kbps. PFA the screenshot.
PS: i was using the rj45 cable directly. How worst can it be?

I have one smartphone right now, but it doesn't support whatsapp, and internet is slow ( it is not 3g). So, I'd like to buy a new smartphone. It should be a dual sim, 3g enabled, 4 inches screen with 5 mp camera. And most importantly it has to be under 9000 rs. I don't want to spend too much on a phone. I have seen Xolo Opus Q100, and i liked the specifications. But I don't know how the company is. So, if there is a better alternative than that tell me. Please help me out. Thanks in advance. |
