You Broadband has the worst service Posted: 17 Dec 2013 02:42 AM PST It was down for 18 days. Service is pathetic. I am fed up and so as my friends. I regret by taking you BB. Customer support people says we are facing some issue, sorry for that, thats all they do. in between it started working and now every alternate day it doesn't work. I have used BSNL, Hathway & You till now. Among all worst is YOU. Now yet to try Airtel & ACT. If you have which is better among Airtel & ACT, let me know. All I need is properly working connection.

Posted: 17 Dec 2013 02:09 AM PST I wonder why there is no thread for this yet!
The show is doing wonderfully well. I personally love it. It's different, no cheap comedy and pure entertainment.
TRP wise it's doing extremely well. Currently at the top in it's category (even above the likes of KBC, Jhalak Dikhla Ja, etc.) and overall 3rd. BTW you can watch the full episodes, trailers, etc. here - http://www.youtube.com/user/colorstv/search?query=comedy+nights Believe me, this show is amazing. You gotta watch this if you don't. |

Posted: 17 Dec 2013 12:20 AM PST Does the aircel selfcare portal ever work? It seems like forever, since, whenver I try to login, I get some form of error - 1. Login session has expired. Please relogin - endless loop of this. Deleting cache doesn't seem to have any effect. 2. Request could not be completed at this time due to some technical difficulty. Please try again later.
I've tried Firefox (Mac and PC) and IE on PC. Trying to use their portal just seems to be an exercise in frustration

Looking ISP License on Rent/Subleasing Basis for Internet Service Posted: 16 Dec 2013 11:31 PM PST Hello There!
I am going to start WISP/Hotspot service in my area and looking for ISP license on rent and/or subleasing basis from interested class-A license holder parties to get profited by license sharing/subleasing/renting their ISP license for mutual business benefits. Anyone out there can help me on this where to get this? Is it necessary to get license to start Hotspot service within a small town? Also, Is it necessary to get license to start providing internet service in remote & rural areas? Are remote & rural areas are exempted from ISP license requirement to promote internet services to bridge the digital divide for remote & rural areas? Any positive response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

DSL-2730U DLink Router configuration for MTS 24Online Connection Posted: 16 Dec 2013 11:15 PM PST I have a connection from a local ISP which uses MTS connection, it uses 24Online billing system and provided me a RJ45 Cable with static IP, subnet mask, default gateway and primary dns ip, username and password. I have a DSL-2730U Wireless N 150 ADSL2+ 4-Port Router - D-Link
I want to have wifi in my house using this connection.
Now when i just put the uplink RJ45 to lan1 and another cable to connect my pc and the router on lan2 of the router, i can browse the internet from my pc but can't browse it from the wifi.
I'm a noob on networking and searched through the forum and google but still can't find any solution. If someone could enlighten me on this, that would be appreciated. Thank you. |
Posted: 16 Dec 2013 10:38 PM PST Has bsnl changed post FUP speeds? I hav BSNL 950 UL plan and i have exceeded 8gb(used 16gb to be precise). Till friday i was getting 512kbps speeds and from saturday i m again getting 4mbps speeds. Even my friend confirmed this but we both live in different areas. Would it be a glitch? |
Posted: 16 Dec 2013 10:26 PM PST My cousin found this ISP today. Is anyone using this or has used this?

Posted: 16 Dec 2013 10:04 PM PST http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/08/windows-phone-notifications/ You know how it goes, you buy a phone on eBay, and it comes with a developer / pre-release version of a major mobile OS. Well, if these images are to be believed, that's at least what happened to one bargain-hunting Windows Phone fan. The screenshots -- said to be taken from a Nokia 920 -- show Windows Phone 8, but with a few new tweaks and features. Most notable, will likely be the notifications, but other tidbits include App list ordering based on frequency of use, week view in the calendar and the option to kill apps from the multitask screen. The phone reports a build number of: 12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407 leading some to infer that this version could have been compiled sometime in May. A tease of something to come? As always, hard to tell, but expect the price of second-hand 920s to bump up a little, for the next few weeks at least. |
Flipkart has stopped taking signature during deliveries for some orders? Posted: 16 Dec 2013 10:00 PM PST I ordered 3 books on 12th, delivered on 14th. Funny thing though was that the courier guy who delivered the books said he doesnt need my signature, nothing to sign. I found that odd and think its a risk I dont want to take when ordering more expensive items... |

Posted: 16 Dec 2013 07:42 PM PST Hi all,
I have - 1 Desktop PC, 1 Dell Laptop, 1 Acer Netbook (All Windows 7 Ultimate) ADSL+ Wifi Router - DNA A211 Type 4 provided by BSNL - 4 Ethernet ports + Wifi + RJ11 (Phone line)
I want to setup a home network that will allow me sharing files between all of these using my current modem+router.
1. is it possible to keep router in dial up mode, so as to access internet only as and when required but transfer files through ethernet/Wifi network? I think it will lead to problem that i can use internet only in any one of these and not simultaneously. It can be managed.
2. if not, i can switch to always online mode for internet, and than transfer files via ethernet/wifi.
First one is preferable.
Files will be huge videos, movies etc so transferring via internet not possible.
kindly guide me. |
Saurav Ganguly being wooed by political parties Posted: 16 Dec 2013 07:39 PM PST http://m.timesofindia.com/india/After-BJP-now-Congress-trying-to-woo-Sourav-Ganguly/articleshow/27422916.cms

Posted: 16 Dec 2013 07:29 PM PST With the recent spurt of people going offtopic, I saw the need of this thread. ![]() Here you can go offtopic as much as possible. Post whatever you want, with just one condition that at least post something sensible that someone else would reply. Don't just post crap. Thread hijacking is totally allowed here. ![]() That being said, I'd like to post this. Today, while coming to office, I was listening to Radio Mirchi, and there the RJ was playing songs dedicated by the parents for their child(ren). There's one father who dedicated the song "Kajra Re" for his son. There's another father who dedicated the song "Dhoom Machale Dhoom" for his son. Now, after those two requests, there was one mother who dedicated the song "Jaadu Jaadu" for her daughter. Now we can see the real contrast in the choice of songs between the dads and the mom (or for the son and the daughter). What do you think which was it? Or does it indicate some kind of specific mentality? |
