| Airtel Killed a 6+ years Old Number, Kicking TRAI Guidelines Posted: 24 Nov 2013 02:31 AM PST as the Title says. A very close friend who's wife is a govt. employee had this number with her for 6+ years. Today morning she went to office, got low on Balance, called her hubby to recharge and he topped up for some local pack of rs.200+
Number was working fine till around 5 P.M. and all of a sudden, "SIM REGISTRATION FAILED"
Her husband a close friend of mine, tried whatever he could, then called me to troubleshoot I was sure and asked him to call the 10 Digit Airtel Customer care from his other cellphone
and to our surprise the Airtel Customer Care Representative said, Number has been DE-Activated and Removed from Database and there's no way on earth you could get it back.
What the HELL
Hello, Are you guys gone completely out of Control, Are you operating above TRAI Guidelines, This is Insane, no warnings, no reminders, no information just KICKED out of network.
This even when Last time he submitted his ID + Photograph in March 2013, as she lost her phone along sim in it, and it was blocked, and a duplicate SIM was issued after the required paper work.
and before that a year or two back, same guy submitted the ID proof on previous instance of Phone/SIM LOST.
And now the customer care says, some verification failed and we killed your number. ID proof was Legitimate, Photo was real, Number was active for last 6+ Years and killed/flushed like pooo....
Her number was registered as only number in govt. records for her employment This Airtel Number was registered in all her banking accounts This Airtel number was working for last 6 years and each and every person she had to deal in her official work had this, from peon to a High Rank I.A.S. officer.
Friend is real angry and will be talking to a Lawyer monday morning, he also wants to register a F.I.R. against the person who is in-charge at their local office who would have processed the Docs which were submitted, and he's certainly talking to PRESS and showing the details, I am sure this is gonna cause a lot of heat in coming days.....
Can someone please tell what should be done if he's not choosing the right process Personally, I am so scared of Airtel now.....
will keep you guys posted monday on-wards when this DRAMA starts

On a Airtel 4 mbps 30 gb plan, run out of it fairly quick. With the new ps4 on my list and it's online requirements, I wanted an ul connection.

1) Shows I/O error while creating a new folder(sometimes) 2) Downloading torrent in that disk shows error 3) Shutting down takes a lot of time due to disk accessing(when not in use)
P.S. Tested with all major utilites (WD/Seagate) but couldn't find any errors. Anyone facing similar issues? Any suggestions? |

Posted: 23 Nov 2013 07:57 PM PST Got airtel broadband removed coz pricing is high and after fup speed is 256 kbps i need atleast 512 kbps i had their 1099 plan 2mbps till 15 gb so now i got reply 4m reliance that they don't operate in my area so now i have only left with mtnl,bsnl and Tikona.I liked tikona 2mbps till 20gb afterwards 512kbps for 750 +taxes Also liked mtnl plan 1mbps no fup for 999.So what to choose i have beetel 450tc1 wifi modem will that work with any of these plans.I live in nit faridabad |

| BSNL Broadband BBG Combo ULD 900 Posted: 23 Nov 2013 01:47 PM PST I have a BBG Combo ULD 900 connection for my computer , I want to know some questions my friends
What my plan states is : According to http://www.bsnl.co.in/opencms/bsnl/BSNL/services/broadband/BB_combo_unlim.html
My plan has Upto 2 Mbps till 8 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 8 GB status and i am getting just 30 - 40 kbps connection , i have asked my circle broadband cell and they told me this is the correct speed you are getting ( 512 kbps / 8 , u will receive 1/8th of speed)
What i want to know :
1)The 8 GB slab is that for per month basis or it is universal meaning when you have first installed this connection you will get a 2 Mbps connection for the first 8GB you ever use or,
You will get 2 Mbps connection for the First 8 GB you use per month and it keeps on repeating per month
2) what they are saying about getting 30 - 40 kbps per month for Rs. 900 is right and i would receive 1/8th of total connection speed.
Please help me , i am wasting Rs. 900 for a 30 - 40 kbps (at night and day) or please suggest me a good broadband plan , i am wasting Rs. 900 which is a lot of money !!!!!

I am talking about Android and specifically note 2 In note 2 default video player has touch based interface to do it right from the screen itself but cannot be done in youtube app |
