| Posted: 28 May 2012 02:45 AM PDT All I can say is "whoa". Rcom: Looks like the links to Reliance get just as saturated as the ones to VSNL. ATT/Inteliquent: These links go through Tata, so that's the behaviour we're seeing elsewhere as well. CW is roughly as I'd expect given the distances and all. In short, it seems simply to be saturation at the gateways. I can ping 59.163.207.81 (Sixth hop for you) in 27 or 28ms, you are seeing 250+ and with 115.254.106.154 I can see that in 17 or 18ms whereas you can see it in 350+ only. BSNL needs to either upgrade it's core and/or edge routers, buy more bandwidth or maybe even both. |
