Saif Ali Khan, who recently experimented with India's first ever zom-com Go Goa Gone, will soon be doing a mad comic caper. The film titled Humshakals directed by Sajid Khan will feature Saif in an out and out comic avatar. Interestingly though, it is learnt that much like the title of the film, Saif will be seen playing a triple role in the film. Coproduced by Fox Star Studios and Vashu Bhagnani's Puja Entertainment, Humshakals, will also feature two other male leads, Ram Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, who will also have triple roles.

Ok in few months the shit is going to hit the fan.Way too many signs are pointing to this.

I am planning to get solar hybrid ups,atmospheric water generator,food rations,survival kits and may be guns.

Tikona - Pune - Experience

Well ... I knew Tikona is bad.. had read their 1000's of comments abt shitty connection... Still went for Tikona 1 month back. 

Actually I have BSNL bbnd (no other provider in my area).. BSNL is pretty good and rock solid except that it goes down for 3-4 days every month.. I needed a backup connection.. Called tikona folks.. they came to show demo.. their tower was 100mts away from my rooftop.. Demo was done.. i couldn't see 4Mbps speed and immediately took the connection. 

 

When tikona works.. it is good.. but seems like their is some flaw in technology on which Tikona operates... Connection goes for a toss every 2-3 hours and it forces me to restart the device. after restarting the device it is again back to normal. 

It has been a real pain since last 1 month to restart the device every 2-3 hours to have the connection working. 

Complained multiple time.. each time their BS support team would say sir plz restart the device... :) :) :) ... 

While i have used the connection for 1 month with pain.. but i feel sorry for 750 Rs which i paid to them for installation..

 

Have decided to not pay their bill.. and throw away their device in dustbin to recover my 750Rs.

Charging cable for Note 2

So my stock cable went kaput. Then the cable i bought from Palika went kaput. 

I wanna buy a cable specifically designed for charging phones, not for data transfer. It'll use the micro usb 2.0 port on the Note 2. Is there any cable which is made for charging? 
My budget is maximum 500, and I'm willing to buy from sites outside India if the price is right. 


Any suggestions?

Failing this, I'd like to buy the original cable that comes with Mid-High end Sony phones ie Xperia Z, cause I've used one and its very nice. Give me a stable 1500 mah.

Low Downstream Rate

Help me. I'm getting extremely low downstream rates. I'm using 256 kbps plan. I used to get 3000-4000 kbps downstream rate. At that time I could use full 256 kbps speed. It used to swing around 25-32 KBps. Now my downstream rate stays around 350 kbps and sometimes even goes to 60-90 kbps. And I get download speed of just 4-8 KBps. I can hardly connect to internet.

 

I also have frequent disconnection problems. So I've disabled every modulation except G.Dmt. Hence, downstream rate stays around 350-1300 kbps. Still not enough to utilise full 256 kbps connection, I'm getting just 20 KBps out of possible 32 KBps.

 

However, upstream rate never really changed. It stays constant around 500-600 kbps.

 

Modem is ZTE ZXDSL 531B wireless modem.

I've installed BBNL & am satisfied with speed. Noticed few issues. Internet is down when Power fails, maybe its the cable operators issue and secondly while using ddclient to update the DNS it takes the Gateway IP. I checked the IP using www.checkup.org and noticed the gw address instead of my router address. Anyone resolved this issue.
