TataSky Base Pack charge on your a/c revised to Rs. 360 pm. Select Addon channels/Packs will undergo price revision in April. Press help on your rmote for details.
I hope TS needs to understands price sensitive Indian market and act accordingly. TS can't increase prices now and then as per there wish. This will gonna loose many customers.
I hope we have portability in DTH also like MNP in mobile. |

Posted: 14 Apr 2014 01:10 AM PDT http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/08/windows-phone-notifications/ You know how it goes, you buy a phone on eBay, and it comes with a developer / pre-release version of a major mobile OS. Well, if these images are to be believed, that's at least what happened to one bargain-hunting Windows Phone fan. The screenshots -- said to be taken from a Nokia 920 -- show Windows Phone 8, but with a few new tweaks and features. Most notable, will likely be the notifications, but other tidbits include App list ordering based on frequency of use, week view in the calendar and the option to kill apps from the multitask screen. The phone reports a build number of: 12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407 leading some to infer that this version could have been compiled sometime in May. A tease of something to come? As always, hard to tell, but expect the price of second-hand 920s to bump up a little, for the next few weeks at least. |
MTNL Broadband is inserting Adphonso powered malware on all customer devices Posted: 14 Apr 2014 12:23 AM PDT I have MTNL ADSL broadband in Delhi. Today I saw this popup on the side when I connected online (I removed my telephone number from the image):
After looking for the inserted code, I discovered that MTNL is inserting iframes inside the webpages!
The popup is being loaded from http://www.adphonso.com/testmtnl.php?CSID=22221504@mtnl
(I changed the telephone number in the URL above) More scrips are inserted from MTNL address 203.94.243.40
The adphonso website belongs to an adversiting company and that is a big problem
Are you guys seeing this sort of popups too? If yes, do you think is it safe?
I think this way inserting codes inside webpages is not good for the privacy of users. |

Incable net HD Box charges and monthly fees [Mumbai] ? Posted: 13 Apr 2014 10:53 PM PDT I have Incable Net cable at my home here and it has this set top box and all. There is no dish. Now we do not have HD as of now and it is a normal box. Last when my dad asked (may be 6+ months back) the Incable Net guy, he mentioned something like Rs. 4000+ for the HD Box which i find really expensive. Moreover the charges per month also increase which is sort of expected. Now at present i think we pay around 300 Rs or so and we get all the channels (except HD). There are no packs or anything, we just get all channels. I believe in HD as well it would probably be the same way, pay a fixed amount per month and you get all channels, HD and Non HD (i am presuming this). May be restriction on some premium channels like Star World Premium HD but i don't know as of yet. So is anyone (preferably in Mumbai) using Incable Net can please mention if they are using HD box and HD channels and let me know how much you pay and what are the box charges and whatever details you can give. |
