BSNL - EVDO - Usage - Review and everything about it

I know its a old school connection , about 4 years old but till now there isnt a better wireless plan compared to this till now

Rs 750 Pm True Unlimited . Prepaid

Pros:
1. True Unlimited no FUPs - i download around 100-150 Gbs a month, i can download upto 200-300 Gbs but i run out of files :redface:
2. Priced cheap compared to others , when they charge Rs 1000 with 10 Gb FUP
3. U dont have to talk to the customer care ever

Cons:
1. it has too many
2. Coverage is too thin , forget about slow speed there are places where u wont get any service at all
3. u just cannot walk to a BSNL office and buy this sim , because 70% of them doesnt know there is a service like this
4. CDMA
5. Availability of CDMA- EVDO modems in the market
6. Recharge Problems , those STVs mentioned on the site dont work most of the time ( lost Rs 1000 over online Recharge couple of times)

even after all the above i just love this connection , its prepaid and costs 750 pm , unlimited
have nice coverage in my town , so always get 1-2mbps , but dont ask about the ping or latency values :mad:

with this connection i have never thought about another connection for 3 years now .

have some doubts ? want details ? ask it here

Recharge:

 

recharge for Rs 20 for 6 months validity , make with a retailer if he says this amount is not available insist that it works

topup for any amount you like , every 30 days the rental would get deducted automatically

Need help with Beetel 450TC2 modem

I recently got Beetel 450TC2 wifi-modem with my Airtel internet connection. I can connect to internet via lan wire but they have implemented enterprise wifi security for wireless connectivity. Basically, one has to register his/her devices via their website and only then he/she shall be able to connect to internet. Also it has a limit of only 4 devices via wifi as websites registers MAC of each device. If one has to add a new device he has to de-register previous device. In short it is "crap worthy". I tried to change the wifi authentication mode by login into the modem via 192.168.1.1 but it is locked (uneditable). Is there a custom firmware/ open source firmware/ other tricks that can be used to remove this bullshit authentication mode? Only in India can a company (Read Airtel) sell you broadband at a high cost as well as restrict it usage.

BSNL Broadband: Combo ULD 800 Plan Review

Hey friends,

 

I installed BSNL BB with Combo ULD 800.

 

AS per plan speed should be max. 1mbps upto 6gb. But i am getting 1.6mbps speed as per speed test (measured on speedtest.net). How it can be possible. Can any 1 answer??????????????????????????????????????????????

 

BSNL has taken 2 month to install Landline but bb installation is very quick (2 days after application).

 

Till now i am satisfied. I am in Vadodara, Gujarat region.

 

You ppl also can share your experience for this plan and BSNL service.

It should be truly unlimited(no GB restriction) and support minimum download speed of 1mbps at night. Im ok with normal speeds during day time.

Doubt regarding BSNL Broadbrand Download Speed

My BSNL plan is "BB Home Combo ULD 650" which means "4Mbps upto 25GB, 1Mbps beyond" according to New Revised Plans from Feb 1, 2014.

So my doubt is i already downloaded 25 GB, now also download speed is between 225-230 kbps.

which i cant understand already 25 GB is over so how download speed is still in between 225-230 kbps?

man the great graphic cards from the green team (nvidia) which is based on "Maxwell architectures" finally launched means better performance , better power consumption from previous gen cards , the brilliant thing about it that it only requires 60 watts tdp and doesn't required 6 pin power connector..so u can couple with ur old computers and play latest games in high settings and i think it satisfies the price and performance ratio and can be considered as already the god of mid level gaming......for detail specifications and prices go to the link down below..

Hey guys, I am from south Delhi thinking to switch to Nextra cuz its more economical then Airtel. I have been exteremly satisfied with Airtel services so far. Net is amazing. Zero downtime, constant ping. Can I expect the same from Nextra? I am currently on Airtel Rapid 80 under 20% discount offered by retention team last month. I'll call them again at end of this month to discontinue. I'll stick to them if they offer them true unlimited plan with at least bps speed. Any one aware if they currently have 2 or 4mbps retention plan if so what are there prices? Thanks! With atleast 2mbps speed* Sry for typo
