hi Guys,

 

Its frustrating that BSNL is yet to launch truly unlimited 1/2/4 Mbps plans for < 1500Rs. Its perpetually offering 512Kbps speeds from last 4-5 years. Not only that, they are not even offering speed boost say after 6pm like MTNL does. Its not only about downloading torrents. Even if i want to watch Youtube files, I am not able to with 512kbps. They should start offering speed boost to 2/4Mbps at 6pm to 8am slot if offering the same at daytime is not possible. What can we do in this situation ? Can we all raise a CRM ticket at selfcare portal to demand this ?

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said legal cases will be filed against billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Union Oil Minister Veerappa Moily and other policy-makers for colluding to inflate the prices of gas produced from the D6 block off the eastern coast. "Today we have instructed the anti-corruption branch to file a criminal case against Murli Deora, FIRs against Veerappa Moily, VK Sibal, the (then) Director General of Hydrocarbons, Reliance Industries Ltd Chairman Mukesh Ambani and others," Mr Kejriwal said, declaring that Reliance was being allowed windfall illegitimate gains. Sony has announced a new version of its PS Vita, just weeks after announcing a price-drop across both the US and Europe. (Japan was treated to the discount back in February.) It's 15 percent lighter and 20 percent thinner than the original model and will add an additional hour of life to the battery. The new (WiFi-only) Vita will land in Japan first, on October 10th priced at 18,980 yen (about $190). Other hardware improvements (alongside pink, black, blue, grey, lime green, and yellow color options) include a micro-USB charger -- like your smartphone -- and 1GB of onboard storage. Interestingly, the screen tech has been changed to LCD from OLED, but we'll have to see it in the flesh before we jump to any conclusions on performance.

Ion is an asynchronous networking and image loading library.
This is a demo of the DeepZoom feature in ion. DeepZoom allows you to load extremely large images on Android. It will load portions of the image (supersampled or subsampled) as tiles.
This is very similar to how Google Maps works, where zooming in loads and draws additional tiles at higher quality. This proves to be memory efficient, as loading the entire image as full quality would not be possible with extremely high resolution photos.
The sample image here is 9,865 × 3,120 pixels. This would take roughly 123MB of memory to load at full quality without this tiling technique.
In this video, DeepZoom debug drawing is enabled; the red regions that show up are the regions of the image that are being loaded into a higher quality tile.

Need to shift my contacts and messages from Nokia N73, Symbian s60v3 to Android ( Moto G ).

 

any suggestions of a good app :D One which does it via phone to phone via bluetooth would be nice though.
