I it is a sad incident of Act which is still not resolved i have taken act broad band connection with upfront 6 months paid for it and from 25th onwards its is not working i had to call the customer care wherin they gave a TAT of 24 working hours and says thats working hours is 3 days and till now the compalnt status says that tried to ping the ip but not responding when i contacted nodal team on call and spoke to person Ravi i got reply that i can go no where he is the entire Bangalore escalation head and will get the same fixed by 26th by 7 PM but after that there is no update regarding the same where in am running pillar to post but getting same answer that give us some time .I am repenting why did i go to ACT broadband from Airtel as there is no proper response even after esclating things.
I will wait for a day and file a case in consumer forum reg the same for my losses incurred for disrupted services,

Post whatever you want, with just one condition that at least post something sensible that someone else would reply. Don't just post crap. Thread hijacking is totally allowed here.  That being said, I'd like to post this. Today, while coming to office, I was listening to Radio Mirchi, and there the RJ was playing songs dedicated by the parents for their child(ren). There's one father who dedicated the song "Kajra Re" for his son. There's another father who dedicated the song "Dhoom Machale Dhoom" for his son. Now, after those two requests, there was one mother who dedicated the song "Jaadu Jaadu" for her daughter. Now we can see the real contrast in the choice of songs between the dads and the mom (or for the son and the daughter). What do you think which was it? Or does it indicate some kind of specific mentality? |

DSL Status
Please tell me ,does changing the modem will help. if changing modem can help then please help me choosing a modem.

Firstly I want Bnsl broadband connection at my home. BSNL BB is available in my area but there is no wiring near my house. Bnsl care person said me that they can't give me broadband so i have to use wimax but wimax also does not work at my home because of high tree around my home. Can i insist them for giving me wire broadband connection.
Can me and my friend share a single user name and password for using broadband. Would we able to use username and password simultaneously. Or we have to log out from one side.
Do bsnl user can see Internet data history. How much they used ? How much data left? If i apply for any limited data plan then can i see my Data left?
One more question, I was looking on internet and found that people hack other user password and username and use them. Why don't BSNL sue them. While they use someone else username or password that time don't the real user get to know that someone else is using his data ?
Please answer all of my Question...

I am facing a problem with my Nokia Siemens 1600 router ( 4 years old).
Scenario 1:
Ethernet Cable plugged to the router + Wi-Fi is enabled
When the Ethernet cable is plugged into the router and also when Wi-Fi is enabled (Wi-Fi enabling/disabling through http://192.168.1.1), all the LED's except Power LED goes off. Then DSL will be blinking for few minutes and it will turn off... again it will blink and goes off.. this cycle repeats without making any internet connection.
Scenario 2:
Ethernet Cable unplugged from the router and Wi-Fi is enabled
When the Ethernet cable is not plugged into the router and when Wi-Fi is enabled modem will be connected to Internet and I can surf the internet through my smartphone without any disconnection.
Scenario 3:
Ethernet Cable plugged to the router and Wi-Fi is disabled
When the Ethernet cable is plugged into the router and Wi-Fi is disabled then I can access Internet from my PC without any interruption in connection.
Bottom Line of my problem is I cant use Wi-Fi through my smartphone and Internet through PC at the same time. Either one must be disabled to get the other working.
Please help me. What is the Problem here. I couldn't find out. I am unable to get any help from BSNL people. They simply closes my complaint without solving.

Previously while paying online with Citibank Credit Card was easy, just needed to enter the internet banking password in place of 3D secure. But now they have made OTP mandatory and OTP is not sent but we need to request from our mobile. I tried it twice and both the times (two different days) the transaction did not go through. So if we need to transact using citi cards, we need to shell out money for sms for every transaction and which anyways did not work for me. Tried contacting them thru twitter and found out that CitiBank India does not have any presence in twitter. Its like 90s |

The centrepiece of the package, to be discussed with the F1 teams' alliance FOTA next week in Geneva, is the standardisation of expensive car parts that add little to the show. The London publication The Times claims that Bernie Ecclestone, the Chief Executive of F1's commercial rights holder, backs the Max Mosley-devised plan to 'dramatically' cut costs. Among the measures is the introduction of a controversial standard engine design for 2010, additional energy recovery systems and fuel-efficient engines for 2013, and many 'common parts' for the chassis. The items of interest mobile phone covers. There was a code which would get you a cover for Rs 63+ shipping. I created my login then went about selecting the relevant mobile covers, the quantity, added the promo code which showed it was valid. But it did made no difference to the overall billing amount which was Rs 758/-. Now it should have been only 63*2+29=155. So I cancelled y order, I tried again later & got the same result. That was when I decided to delete my a/c but to my shock I could NOT do so, I went thru the FAQ's here's what I found.

When I mentioned this to my friend, he tried from his a/c & it was the same story so he volunteered to post on their FB page (I don't have an a/c) but the shocking thing is that his post can be seen only by him. It cannot be seen by anyone who is not logged in OR by other FB members who can login & go to this page. I am now stuck as

Laptop is only 1.5 years old :\

Its FREE ! U can now have yahoo email IDs with (.) in between. The gr8 thin abt this ... u can use the same INBOX for both email IDs. Both mails drop into the same inbox and u can give ur second ID either for office or some important work so that the ID sounds better than the present one !
