Lan shows connected but net not working

Fnds I hv a problem I m mtnl lan connection when connecting to pc it shows lan connected but when opn browser net not working drivers are fully installed even Ihv installated winxp servc pack 2 agn but agn the same problem.. on the other hand when connecting net to my frnd pc it is working . Pls help asap..

MTNL's Mumbai customer will not have to pay any extra charge when they travel to Delhi, and same scheme will apply for its Delhi customers.
State-owned telecom firm MTNL has launched new roaming plans from January 26 that will offer their subscribers free calls.

i bought a Beetel 450TC2 modem from a person who his known to my friend, later 1ly i came to know it is airtel modem but my ISP is BSNL, By watching youtube tut i configured the modem but cant do nothing with wifi settings. I asked him for that he told me he had firmware by updating that u can use wifi i send u but he absconded cant able to contact him or by friend , i using modem without wifi for 2months

MTNL Broadband to offer Wi-Fi Hotspots in Delhi and Mumbai

Ailing state-owned telecom company MTNL plans to launch high speed Wi-Fi services in Mumbai and Delhi, which will provide Internet services to customers at different location, apart from their homes.

MTNL will be tying up with malls, coffee chains and food courts to provide this unlimited Wi-Fi service to its customers.

"We are planning to provide our customers Wi-Fi services at indoor locations such airports, cafes, food courts, apart from their homes. We will be offering 8 Mbps speed", MTNL Executive Director Peeyush Agarwal told reporters here over the weekend.

On the tariff side, he said a customer will have to use a line-bonding modem to avail of this service, adding that customers already using the MTNL Wi-Fi services on mobile devices will be charged an additional Rs 50-100 apart from their existing monthly rental.

Which broadband is available in HSR Layout 1st Sector Bangalore

I'm going to move to HSR Layout 1st Sector in the following week. I contacted Airtel and unfortunately they don't have network feasibility here. This absolutely surprises me to know that Airtel still don't have their network in one of the prime residential places of Bangalore. To be honest I searched all over the internet to know what all ISPs are available and there are not many. I heard of TTN network as most used broadband here in 1st Sector, but all over the internet its users are down voting and cursing it.

 

I hope this is my last resort to ask this question on broadband forum, if anyone is staying here in 1st Sector, do you know what all ISPs are available here? If you've heard of TTN Network, is it really that horrible as its users say?

 

I'm really internet starved and frustrated to my depths, this is my new home and they still don't have Airtel here. I can't stay alive on shitty Airtel 3G and expensive 4G anymore . Lord knows what the hell is taking so much time.

The latest word is that the Nokia Lumia 1520 V will have a 4.45 inch screen with resolution of 768 x 1280. Original reports had the phone carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution on a 4.3 inch screen, but that apparently was too good to be true. A 2370mAh battery will be powering the device, which will offer the 3 columns of Live Tiles like the full-sized phablet.

An expert panel has recommended making direct-to-home (DTH) signals the primary mode of transmitting content for Doordarshan and to discontinue terrestrial analog transmission.
The Prasar Bharati Expert Committee, headed by technocrat Sam Pitroda, submitted its report to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on January 24.
It observed that in the present scenario, 92 per cent of Indian households access television through cable and satellite systems (Cable and DTH).
"This scenario presents a strong case for switching off analog terrestrial TV broadcasts within a short period of time and adoption of DD Direct (DTH) as Doordarshan's primary mode of transmission," the Committee recommended.

India Post to install 3000 ATMs,1.35 lakh mirco-ATMs by Sepember 15 - The Economic Times
 

Even as its application to start a commercial bank is pending, India Post has drawn a massive plan to install as many as 3,000 ATMs and 1.35 lakh micro-ATMs at the ubiquitous post offices across the country for savings account holders by September 2015, a top official has said. "We will be starting with three ATMs to be installed in New Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore on February 5 and then ramp it up gradually," postal department secretary Padmini Gopinath told a select group of reporters here over the weekend. She said 1,000 ATMs with the India Post branding will be put in within the first year, which will be ramped up massively to 3,000 in the next 18 months.


They seem to have more than 26 crore account holders!

I live in Vadodara, Gujarat.

 

We have 3G coverage at my house from Vodafone, Reliance, Tata.

 

I see on Vodafone and Reliance site that they have HSPA+ network up to 21mbps. Do they have dongles that will give this speed?

 

It was confusing to research online, as I don't know whether HSPA+ coverage is available in my area or not. Or, does HSPA+ work over normal 3g?

Thought I would start another thread for people who have actually used this service to describe their experience.

They have started advertising quite heavily in Bombay and their plans seem pretty decent. Their 600kbps UL plan would be excellent for me.

I really like the way they have bill limits for their limited plans as well. That shows they understand consumer concerns about enormous bills and have designed their plans to allay them.

So how good is their service? Any down time? How quickly do they respond to complaints? Really any information from people who have used Tikona would be appreciated.

RELIANCE BROADBAND NOT WORKING – STRANGE PROBLEM.

Dear All,

For the last 7 days my Reliance Broadband Connection is switched off from 7 PM to 10 AM next day. I have lodged several complains to the Reliance Toll Free Customer Care number and email them, but they fail to solve the problem or at least call and say where the problem is. I am from Central Kolkata, West Bengal.

Interesting part is that the ADSL Link is present in the modem and I get the message "Acquiring network address" but then I get the final message "The connection has limited or no connectivity" in Windows XP Home Edition. The same connection in the same computer will start to work after 10 AM every day and stop working at around 7 PM. It seems someone is switching any ISP equipment ON and OFF every day.

Can anyone say what can be the probable cause of such an issue where the ADSL link is not down but the computer fails to get an IP address and how to get it solved since Reliance customer care cannot help. It seems Reliance has one of the worst customer care at present.

Airtel IPTV installation with D-Link DSL-2750U

Frustrated with the Wi-Fi performance of existing Airtel Provided Router Beetel 450TC1, I purchased and installed a D-Link DSL-2750U WiFi router and succeeded in configuring WiFi and LAN access for all my data devices.

 

I examined all the WAN connections on my old router and updated them in the new D-Link router as shown below:

The problem I am facing is that the IPTV STB is unable to log into the system successfully every time it is turned on. By trial and error I have identified that the STB logs in successfully if I switch on the router & STB at the same time.

 

I suspect the problem could be with the router. Either it blocks some traffic from the STB required for logging in OR it fails to detect the device (STB) connected to the LAN port.
 

It would be great if someone can share their experience of making Airtel IPTV work with D-Link DSL-2750U WiFi router in a problem free setup.
