RIP Bal Thackeray Posted: 21 Jan 2014 02:09 AM PST Bal Thackeray passes away Shiv Sena patriarch Bal Thackeray, who was critically ill for the past few days, passed away at his residence 'Matoshree' in suburban Bandra on Saturday. He was 86. "He had suffered a cardiac arrest. We could not revive him despite our best efforts. He breathed his last at around 3:30 pm," Dr Jalil Parkar, who treated the Sena chief, told reporters after emerging from Mr. Thackeray residence this evening. Mr. Thackeray had been suffering from respiratory problems and pancreatic disease. He is survived by sons Jaidev and Uddhav, who is the Executive president of the party. Balasaheb thackray, the man who carried forward the voice of the marathi manoos on their own land is no more. Mumbai and maharashtra attract immigrants from all over india and while this mass influx helps create and establish a strong economy in marathi lands, the influx also takes a negative toll on the local people. South indians started to migrate to mumbai and maharashtra in the 60s and the 70s. Shiv sena had started an anti-south indian campaign back then;bajao pungi, bhagao lungi campaign. Over the years, the immigrants contributed to the development of the region. Since then, the shiv sena had changed their political stance from anti-south india to pro-hindu nationalism thereby silently acknowledging a positive contribution from the immigrants to mumbai. A setback to the shiv senas political diversion from the voice of the marathi manoos to hindu nationalism resulted in the division of the party and the creation of MNS. From exclusionism(marathi nationalism) politics to inclusionism(hindutva) politics. It must have been hard for bal thackeray to see the media compare the current shiv sena with MNS. This is the problem with history. It keeps haunting back forever. But his death is a big loss for the marathi people indeed.

using internet simutaneously on two or more device... Posted: 21 Jan 2014 01:35 AM PST Hi guys,   I am Karamdev from Mohali, Punjab. I have a reliance BB 549 plan using it with a BSNL wifi wa3002g4 modem. The problem i am facing is i cannot use the internet simulataneously in 2 or more device because of reliance login, in every device it asks for the reliance login. Moreover I am also having problem in WIFI coverage, when i set my wifi  to some security(WPA PSK 1 or 2) it doesnot show up in devices.   Kindly help me with this.

Restructuring of International Cricket Council Posted: 21 Jan 2014 01:21 AM PST Cricket South Africa (CSA) has demanded immediate withdrawal of a "fundamentally flawed" draft proposal that would effectively place Australia, England and India in charge of the world game. Put forward by a working group of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Finance and Commercial Affairs committee, the proposal recommends international calendar and revenue share being controlled by the three boards who bring the most income to the game. In a letter to all full members of the ICC and its president Alan Isaac, CSA president Chris Nenzani said more consultation was needed into the merits of the proposal and felt the ICC has not followed its own setout procedures in this case.   South Africa asks ICC to withdraw controversial cricket proposal | Reuters   Was reading about this in the paper earlier today. A minimum of 30 days advance purchase has been kept as a must for customers to avail the discount. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, SL Narayanan, Group CFO, Sun Group said he expects no impact on margins as a result of the discounts. AAP's Ashutosh about the ongoing protests by Delhi Government in Delhi Posted: 21 Jan 2014 12:07 AM PST Ashutosh: We are not in the habit of shouting at people, but if a cabinet minister (Saurabh Bharadwaj) is detained by the police without reason and a few volunteers were beaten black and blue, what do you expect us to do ? NDTV.com: AAP wants four policemen to be suspended for refusing to make a series of arrests on the orders of Law Minister Somnath Bharti. They said they didn't have warrants. The union government has ordered an enquiry. But you are not willing to wait for that inquiry to be completed. So if the cops should be suspended, shouldn't the Law Minister also be removed during the inquiry? Ashutosh: As a routine, anybody who has been accused is suspended pending enquiry. Here, there are serious allegations against the police department. There are several complaints that have been made by the local residents and associations against the drug mafia and the sex racket operating in that area. When police department refused to act on those complaints, then residents contacted the local MLA who also happens to be the Law Minister. He, after receiving the complaint, approached the local PCR van, contacted the SHO, ACP of the area, and requested them to help solve this problem. Police, instead of acting on the complaint, connived with the drug mafia and the sex racketeers. So where is the question that action be taken against Somnath Bharti? Secondly, when there is a complaint against the police, how come the police is investigating their own complaint? A fair inquiry is not possible as long as accused police officials are working in the same area. This demand is ridiculous.
