Rahul Gandhi, the scion of a dynasty that has led India for most of its history, suggested in an interview published on Tuesday he was ready to be prime minister if his party won forthcoming elections, his first indication that he wants the job.
Gandhi's Congress party heads the coalition that has governed India for a decade. Buffeted by corruption scandals, low economic growth and high inflation, the party is facing strong opposition challenges in the election due by May.
"I am a soldier of Congress. Whatever order is given to me I will follow it. Whatever Congress says, I will follow it," Gandhi, 43, said in a rare interview with the Hindi-language Dainik Bhaskar, which describes itself as India's most widely read daily.
Gandhi, whose father, grandmother and great-grandfather were all prime ministers in post-independence India, made the remarks ahead of a party meeting on Friday focusing on the election.

I am planning to shift from MTNL to Reliance BB. I called the CC and their services are available in my region. I was almost ready to go ahead when I came across mixed responses from this forum. Does anyone have Reliance BB in Rohini. Can you give your feedback?

Beware, ACT downgrades your speed before reaching FUP Limit, It happened twice to me. Who's next?

My Oct,2013 month usage : 54.18 GB

My FUP limit                       : 60 GB (ACT Indulge plan)

 

My speed was reduced to 512 Kbps on Oct 27th and again on December 29th even before reaching FUP Limit.
 
I called customer care several times. They said the usage details are ''delayed" by 24 Hrs and
I may have reached the FUP Limit at server (Pathetic and I accepted because I don't have proofs)
 
I've proofs with the total usages which I got from "My usage". Every time when my usage is around 54GB, my speed goes to 512Kbps
 
I've suffered with Low Speeds. from 25 Mbps to 512 Kbps even before reaching FUP Limit???
 
 
Guys! Beware of ACT or if you already have ACT, keep watching your "My Usage"

I hope the headline is accurate. I mean Wal-Mart is not coming to Delhi in the next six months at least.

The newly elected state government in New Delhi on Monday barred foreign supermarkets from setting up shop, a blow to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's efforts to attract overseas investment and revive the economy.

Anyone working in a bank here?

My mom shut down her accounts in two PSU banks last week. The problem? She forgot to bring back the updated passbook. 
 
So now dad has no data of the transactions in these bank accounts. He needs this information for income tax purposes. 
 
The guy at the bank claims that they have 'destroyed' the passbook and their computers has no data related to shut down accounts. 
 
I want to know if there are any safeguards in place set by the RBI for such shut down accounts and I can use RTI or any other method to get access to this data?
