| Posted: 11 Jan 2014 01:00 AM PST I am in PPPOE mode and most of the times i get assigned 117.x.x.x. . But sometime I get IP in 59.x.x.x and there is a problem in it. Webpages wont open, torrent wont work, basically there wont be any data transfer, but the led's on the modem will show all ON. But most of the times when it is 117.x.x.x then there is no problem, everything will open fine.
So what is the problem with 59.x.x.x. How do i tackle this ? Is there a way with which i force modem to get 117.x.x.x everytime. My modem is TP-LINK TD-8817. |

Normally the daytime speed is around 89KB/s i.e 700kb/s but from last 2 days I am getting over 1mb/s + i.e 132KB/s + at daytime and normal speed as night time and peering as mentioned in their plans...
Confirmed from a nearby friend too using same plan and he is also getting same increased speed ,also another friend of mine using prime is now getting speed of approx 79KB/s instead of 62KB/s
To confirm I am posting here.. Did All of you alliance users are getting more than plan speeds ? did really Alliance Increased their plan speeds or its just some technical bug.. |

| Posted: 10 Jan 2014 10:46 PM PST Myself chandan m , resident of immadihalli.I applied for broadband connection on 28/12/13.the very next day some person came and fixed the junction box on top of my house but its almost 13 days over but still I didnt get the connection. Everyday I call the customer care but the will tell like you will get the callback from engineer, but till now no one has called me .its very disgusting. I dont know how much time they need to give the connection. |

Posted: 10 Jan 2014 09:56 PM PST I am using BB modem wa3002g1 Type 2 modem from 2007 onwards,my data plan is 600Home combo having 2.5Mbps plan and getting 1.75MBps speed.MY problem is some sites refused to open ex 123greetings.com,mail.yahoo.co.in and iciciprulife.com,zoomin.com and so on.I did all the remedies given in this forum like TCP optimization,dns flushing, going for open dns and google dns etc.After trying this ,still the problem persists.Having the latest versions for Firefox19,google chrome 23.0.1271.95 and IE9 as browsers and default browser is firfox19.0.2.OS is Win 7 ultimate and anti virus is win security essential.Everything is updated when ever ther is updates available.The only settings changed is in modem configuration.Once,in 2010,modem adsl led indicator didnot light up for somedays showing no internet connectivity.I took it to bsnl customer care centre and they told that modem is out of order and i have to change the modem .i purchased a new modem on rent and got internet connectivity.i copied the configuration settings of rented modem to my old modem which is out of order as told by Bsnl.I applid the settings to my old modem and it begins to work and still it works todate.The chang is in ADSL modulation from ADSL2+ to G-DMT. when this setting is reversed, there is no internet connectivity and no ADSL indicator LED and modem is not working.Can any body suggest remedies to overcome this problem and about not opening of certain websites.But when i connected to internet thru my mobile to PC net connection, samsung model having 2g connection these websites opens normaly,,taking time to load due to low speed. That shows there is no problem with the system OS or browsers or settings.What may be the problem.Kindly provide solutions for this .MTU value is 1500 as suggested by TCP optimizer from Speedguide.ne ADSL firmware version. | Not getting desired speed from BBG ULD 950 Plan Posted: 10 Jan 2014 09:27 PM PST Hello Guys... But i'm getting only 1.80 Mbps surfing speed and about 230 Kbps download on the IDM. I've checked on BSNL Selfcare Portal to ensure that whether i crossed 8 GB FUP mark or not, but i've only used 2.5 GB data. So why am i getting low speed.
Addtional Configuration of my Adsl Modem are given below: -

The centrepiece of the package, to be discussed with the F1 teams' alliance FOTA next week in Geneva, is the standardisation of expensive car parts that add little to the show. The London publication The Times claims that Bernie Ecclestone, the Chief Executive of F1's commercial rights holder, backs the Max Mosley-devised plan to 'dramatically' cut costs. Among the measures is the introduction of a controversial standard engine design for 2010, additional energy recovery systems and fuel-efficient engines for 2013, and many 'common parts' for the chassis. "We are completely open to new ideas," Mosley, albeit insisting that engines must be made available to small teams at a low cost, said in a letter to the team bosses. | Posted: 10 Jan 2014 05:51 PM PST I happened to visit an internet center, i had to upload some files to an online storage/file sharing website. So, i tried uploading that pretty small file and it happened in no time.
It showed upload speeds as Big as 500KBps, whereas at my home i get 80KBps at max. How has BSNL began to provide such a large speeds? Any idea.
Probably FTTH? Oh no... or Sat Internet? |
