My Docomo 2 Mbps - FUP - 512 Kbps connection never resets!

It's so awesome. That plan costs around 1200 including taxes and I've downloaded upwards of 200 GB for several months and still get a respectable 200-220 Kbps speed. I was forced to opt for Docomo after BSNL refused to give a single shit about fixing my connection. Talk about customer friendly glitches :D

Hi All,

 

          Well, after poor service from tata photon plus, i have opted for tata docomo broadband. My plan is 2Mbps - 20GB monthly FUP limit @ 999Rs. Monthly rental. They are providing me 1 port router and 512 kbps after FU limit. Installation charges 572Rs. The sales executive has promised me pure speed of 2Mbps praising tata's CDMA network.

 

          I stay in Dattawadi, Pune. I would like to know your reviews on tata docomo broadband regarding its pure dowloading speed,  downtime of network, customer care service quickness. TIA.

Condition of MTNL box in your society

Guys so frustrated with MTNL that I am starting a thread for MTNL box location in your society. I have uploaded this pic just now after several phone call to MTNL broadband guy, AM, SDO, GM & what not however no action is taken and broaband kepps coming anfd going off. This is the worst condition and water is dripping from top from a air conditioning duck.

I am also going to sent an email with this pic to the mtnl so called babus so that they can see what the hell is going on in my society.

 

Airtel speed sucks and they have fup but atleast in my society they have a decent box installed with proper wiring.Here you can see the MTNL wiring and the box does not even has a close lid.

 

If you guys have the same or the worse scenario do share you experience with the pic.

hey all i come to know that bsnl launches truly unlimited plans in Gujarat circles to be exact Surat ,its a bit old news ...so i just surfing on websites i come to know that bsnl takes a great initiative on this and its a tremendous thing that bsnl at least launches so called truly unlimited plans 525 and 725 ,so i just have my finger crossed and wait so that these new plans launches all across india...so that bsnl users like me take the benefits of it,so take a good look of it it guys..

Zte@4.5k or Micromax modem

So i visited today BSNL office and they were ready to provide me the evdo but they said that only Micromax data card is available, no prithvi or zte. But i have heard that Micromax-bsnl data card is not that good and has speed issues. I met one guy outside the office who claimed to be a distributor or something and he told me that there's a plan on zte modem costing me 4.5k total but the advantage will be that the unlimited plan comes with it is @Rs. 290 per month. And he was pretty sure that it was not wimax but an evdo connection. I told him i haven't heard any such plan nor it is on bsnl portal but he assured me that it exists and he will make sure that the bsnl officer in charge will give a personal guarantee to it. I am so confused now. Is that zte offer TRUE and also plz tell me is it ok if i go with Micromax modem. Location : patna

I am going to start WISP/Hotspot service in my area and looking for ISP license on rent and/or subleasing basis from interested class-A license holder parties to get profited by license sharing/subleasing/renting their ISP license for mutual business benefits. Anyone out there can help me on this where to get this? Is it necessary to get license to start Hotspot service within a small town? Also,  Is it necessary to get license to start providing internet service in remote & rural areas? Are remote & rural areas are exempted from ISP license requirement to promote internet services to bridge the digital divide between urban & rural areas? Any positive response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Reliance login page not loading

I got reliance thunder 2mbps unlimited. I live in Vadodara, Gujarat. The speed was great but since past 5 days when I start the modem (ZET company provided by Reliance), the reliance login page doesn't load. The browser says it's loading but after 2 minutes it says website not available. I need to try for 10-15 times and if lucky it would load.

 

I have been trying to load that page since past 5 hours but nothing. I did complain about this and was told that fiber is weak and would be solved by tomorrow. Nothing till now. Is this problem common? Would it get rectified on it's own?

MTNL has introduced truly Unlimited 3G Postpaid plan in Mumbai circle. Postpaid 3G data plan of Rs 1650 which was earlier offering 50GB 3G data usage has been revised to offer Unlimited 3G data usage . The revised 3G plan is available from 1st Dec'13 for its customers in Mumbai. Interestingly this revision has not been carried out in prepaid segment and prepaid pack of Rs 1650 will continue to offer 50GB with 30 days validity.

Hi, I live in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Here in the city there are many ISP available but my area is not feasible by any ISP except BSNL and here BSNL broadband( wire-line) really sucks. Its upload speed is pathetic. Right now I am using BSNL Evdo its good for download but upload speed, I really don't except more from it.

Even in this city only reliance broadband have good upload speed which gives near 1 mbps upload speed.

Suggest me a wireless broadband which gives me good upload speed. And also it should be unlimited. 3G and MTS like EVDO services are not unlimited and they are too much expensive.

 

I only had seen a video on YouTube of Reliance WiMax which gives more than 1 mbps upload speed. But only one video which is not sufficient for trusting.

What I need only good upload speed.
