Posted: 19 Nov 2013 01:03 AM PST Hello everyone, first time poster here.
I am located in thane west and have been using 5net for about 3 months now. The main reason i switched over to 5net from my tata indicom adsl was the torrent speeds. I always used to get 900kB/s fro popular torrents and even 7-8 MB/s for more popular torrents. Later i discovered that it is due to BtCache/ CacheBT.. BtCache/CacheBT no longer shows up in the peer list for the currently downloading torrents (as many of you might know.. this is a network caching cluster of fivenet which provides such amazing speeds... simply put.. local torrent caching)
i can see however that youtube still works good for 720 even 1080p videos(i.e youtube is still cached)
has fivenet stopped torrent caching?? any one else facing a similar issue?? a call to my lco got me this response "Everything is fine"

Posted: 18 Nov 2013 11:25 PM PST Massa ties the knot ![]() On Friday, Felipe Massa and his girlfriend Rafaela Bassi got married in Sao Paulo. The pair made their wedding vows in the Nossa Senora do Brasil church with Jean Todt, Stefano Domenicali, Mario Almondo, Aldo Costa, Luca Baldisserri and Luca Colajanni attending the ceremony. Of course Nicolas Todt, the manager of Massa, could not be missed during the wedding. F1technical wants to congratulate Felipe and Rafaela with their marriage! F1Technical.net: Massa ties the knot (Powered by TotalF1.com) Former Champ: Schu could return to racing Saturday 1st December 2007 ![]() Former F1 Champion Alan Jones reckons Michael Schumacher may be considering a comeback after an impressive test at Barcelona two week's ago. Although Schumacher retired from F1 at the end of the 2006 season, the German returned to action with Ferrari at the Spanish track in the first of the winter tests. The seven-time World Champion proved to be the man to beat as he dominated the timesheets during his two days of testing. And although Schumacher has stated many times that his test does not mean he will be making a competitive comeback, Jones reckons the thought has to have crossed Schumi's mind. "After nearly a year out of the saddle, I can image him thinking, 'Maybe I'd like to have another go.' It must be just like coming back from an extended Christmas break," Jones told Autosport. "He used to take a couple of months off at the end of each season, so another few months won't make a big difference. Two or three years might have done. "It's a win-win situation: Ferrari gains from his expertise and he enjoys it. And you can never rule out a comeback - he might be thinking, 'I'm really enjoying this!' Money won't be his motivation, it will be to prove a point. "Niki Lauda was out for several seasons and came back and won the title. Michael could do the same." Schumacher misses Massa's wedding day Dec.3 (GMM) A representative for Michael Schumacher has played down speculation that he may have fallen out with his former Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa. In the presence of many of his Ferrari colleagues, 26-year-old married his fiancee Rafaela Bassi, who is 27, in Sao Paulo last Friday, according to reports from Brazil and Italy. Among the 800 guests were team bosses Jean Todt and Stefano Domenicali, as well as Mario Almondo, Aldo Costa and Luca Baldisserri -- but not Schumacher, his 2006 teammate. Massa's countryman Rubens Barrichello also attended, reports said. Days earlier, the former seven time world champion, Schumacher, won a karting event hosted by Massa in the southern Brazilian city of Florianopolis. The German newspaper Bild am Sonntag said Schumacher had celebrated Massa's impending marriage with his former teammate and friend in the days prior. A representative for Schumacher said: "Michael is currently in the United States for a family vacation." |

Williams Formula-1 News and Updates Posted: 18 Nov 2013 09:53 PM PST Team tips Nakajima to impress in '09 Sunday, 09 November 2008 10:23 Williams' chief operations engineer Rod Nelson thinks Kazuki Nakajima will take a big leap forward next season now that he has got his rookie year out of the way. The young Japanese driver had a quietly impressive first full year of Formula 1, shaking off the wild reputation he had earned in the junior categories and delivering five points finishes. Nakajima also steadily closed the gap to his highly-rated team-mate Nico Rosberg, eventually out-qualifying the rapid German on four occasions. Team tips Nakajima to impress in '09 - F1 | ITV Sport |
Red Bull Racing News and Updates Posted: 18 Nov 2013 09:45 PM PST RBR signs Vettel for 2009 Thursday, 17 July 2008 13:21 Red Bull Racing has confirmed that it has signed Sebastian Vettel to partner Mark Webber in its 2009 driver line-up. A vacancy opened up at the Milton Keynes-based squad following David Coulthard's decision to retire at the end of this season, and Vettel has been widely tipped for promotion from Red Bull's 'B' team Toro Rosso. However there has also been speculation that RBR was trying to entice double world champion Fernando Alonso away from Renault, but the Spaniard remains non-committal about his plans for next year and has been linked to a move to Ferrari in 2010. Team principal Christian Horner said he was confident that, despite Vettel's youth and relative inexperience, the 21-year-old German was the right choice. "We are delighted that Sebastian will be joining us next year," said Horner. "With David Coulthard announcing his retirement as a Formula 1 driver a fortnight ago at the British Grand Prix, after careful consideration, it seemed natural to announce his replacement here at Sebastian's home race in Hockenheim. "As he was already part of the Red Bull family, choosing Sebastian as Mark Webber's team-mate was not a difficult decision. RBR signs Vettel for 2009 - F1 | ITV Sport |

Authenticity of Hathway HD STB provideo by LCO? Posted: 18 Nov 2013 09:37 PM PST Hi All,
I have recently installed Hathway HD set top box through my LCO. I paid him 4500/ for the box. I already had Hathway STB and now I just got it replaced by HD box. The HD picture quality is quite good but I am not happy with STB channel pictures quality. I think its really bad compare to what I had seen on my STB. First i thought it could be because subconsciously I am comparing it with HD quality but I guess that's not the case; actually today my mom's friend came home and she saw our new HD set top box and she informed my mom that they have these boxes for sell at their shop (they have a mobile-cum-accessories shop) and this cable guy buys these set top boxes from them for 2000/ and sells it to the customers. Now I am slightly worried about the authenticity of this set top box provided by the LOC. He had told me that he procured it from Hathway office. But now I am not sure if he was telling me the truth.
Is there any way we can authenticate the genuineness of these boxes? I tried looking for Hathway HD models and pictures online but couldn't find anything substantial to clear my doubt. Found only one picture of HD box on Hathway website and it's different from the box which has been installed in my home. But I guess the picture on website could be of old HD box and perhaps the model installed at my house is the latest model which has not been updated on the website. Actually I am not really sure how to figure out if I have the original HD box which is worth 4500/-
I would be glad if someone who has bought the Hathway HD box recently from Hathway office or from the LOC could put couple of pics of the model or may be some specification about the model to help me cross verify the authenticity of the model provided by my LOC.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Gopi could be please help?
Regards, Ameet |

Opera Browser and Opera Mail are now two separate apps Posted: 18 Nov 2013 11:39 AM PST It has been more than two months since the release of last preview from the Opera Stable. And the latest preview seems to be more aimed at making the first view of the opera browser more simple for new users. User Interface has been thoroughly redesigned yet again with fewer options on the front end. Complicated settings have been moved to deeper levels of options. Some of the most noticeable features are close button on the tabs, a popup blocker notifier. Popup blocking is enabled by default now on fresh installs. There is a new recycle bin button, which lists the blocked popups and closed tabs, giving easy accessibility. And M2 (Opera Mail Client) users will like the updated auto-resizing reply box in the mails. Another interesting feature are the security icon (padlock) and RSS icon that comes in the address bar itself when on a secure page or a page correctly linked to a valid RSS newsfeed. For more information, the Changelog is located here. Users can download the new beta from the Opera Forums Post. However, considering this is a preview release users are not recommended to use this browser for critical purposes. http://snapshot.opera.com/windows/w760p2.html | http://my.opera.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70665 Opera Software releases Preview 2 of Opera Browser 7.60 |
