| Posted: 14 Sep 2013 12:53 AM PDT I had been using Vodafone NetCruise ( its supported by MTS Broadband) and it game me a public DHCP IP address. Few months back the Netcruise service stopped in my area and i bought Vodafone 3G. but Vodafone 3G provides as NAT address( private IP).
I would like to know what 3G/4G Dongle services provide public IP ( DHCP or Static ) so that i can access my home network from outside. |

Apart from that what are all installation charges that I can avoid by doing myself ?? |

| TINGRE NAGAR,PUNE internet problem , near road no.14 Posted: 13 Sep 2013 11:41 PM PDT Hi Friends, I am facing a serious internet problem  In my aread , road no.14 tingre nagar (nearer to the airport), there is no broadband penetration except for Sifi/Pacenet which i have. But the thing is i am connected through LAN to the adapter which is in another building. So if light goes, my internet goes. The service provider says there is no solution to the problem. I desperately need a solution to internet problem because recently I am expected to work from home on the weekends and for that round-the-clock connectivity is a must , as we have promised within 2-minute response time to the customer. No wireless (3G usb/data card of RELIANCE,TATA DOCOMO, MBLAZE ) connection is possible in my area due to weak signal. The reason being my area is very close to air-force station and no towers are there. Also the my home is in a area where there are no societies/flats, all are individual homes and not many people need round-the-clock internet connection always. Also other broadband providers like RELIANCE BROADBAND,TATA BROADBAND are saying no because of no feasibility as I am only the one who needs internet and due to this it is not feasible for them to provide the same. I cant go for BSNL as it gets disconnected and their customer is bad, i am saying this from my past experience , i had to eventually discontinue it. VODAFONE 3G wireless plans are very expensive and it doesnt have an unlimited plan!! phew Please suggest an alternative/solution for my area: ROAD NO.14 TINGRE NAGAR,PUNE(NEARER TO THE AIRPORT) Thanks, Sachin Pawar |
| Posted: 13 Sep 2013 11:28 PM PDT I was gaming on my nexus 7 2012 when It suddenly died. Bought in US in Jan this year and I started using this since march. I use original charger for charging. Tab was quite hot since I've been using it since past 2~2 half hours. Wifi with syncing was on and whatsapp and mxplayer pro were in the background.
Waited it to cool a li'll bit and I plugged in the charger..nothing happened. Tried going into bootloader menu but no response. Looks like battery is dead. I remember battery was at 17% since I've checked it just before It went dead. Unlocked nexus 7 with stock Jelly bean 4.3
Checking the web for further steps to proceed. Suggestions appreciated. |

I am going to buy a Wifi Modem+Router. Please suggest one within 2500 rupees.
Also I have heard there routers today has capability of turning external hard disk into wifi. Is it a reality? If yes can you suggest a modem + router that has capability to transmit my external HD into Wifi along with BSNL internet connection?

| Using same modem two connection use Posted: 13 Sep 2013 06:26 PM PDT i have 800 unlimited bsnl plan but for night 2mbps download i have applied for new connection. already got new land phone and now waiting for the user id/pass. but the tech guy saying i cannot use two connection in same modem. even if at night i only want to use second connection, if i want to use second connection at night i have to do modem break or something which i don't understand. and he suggest me to get a rental modem or purchase a new one. |
