| Temporary workarounds for Airtel Fair Usage Policy? Posted: 11 Aug 2013 01:25 AM PDT One easy way to get your speeds back for a little while (maybe 1 hour or even less) is by simply restarting/rebooting your modem. It works for me.
If Airtel is watching this, ** and hope you die soon and let other ISPs like Beam come to Chennai. |

Before going for ACT I had made up my mind to go with BSNL's EVDO as I had read all these bad reviews about ACT. I went to BSNL's CSC and they made me visit their place for continuous 4 days without any progress about the connection. After that, leaving BSNL aside, here is how ACT worked for me,
Speed is as promised and ping is good enough to play Counter Strike. |

First of all, i've been a customer of theirs since the last 16 months and things were going fairly ok until the last few months were it has been utter nonsense that the companies bring me. I got hung upon by the customer service reps, their technician came to my house and installed electric supplies from my neighbour's house without his consent, who later came to me blaming for this. and their customer service reps for most of all need to be told that "Sir, i understand" is not a alternative to a situation when you don't know what to say.
This is an Email i sent them last night, and was pretty much expecting such a hideous reply. Note how the first 2 concerns of mine are answered but the most important one, #3 has just been ignored about. I have never seen such a stupid response from any companies in my life, i have stayed for 3 years in the US, and had they given such a reply to someone over there, the manager of the company would be on roads.
They End the email stating "They are always happy to serve" Their Business is run by a bunch of bullies..!!!

What are the traiff and plans from different ISP in India for providing connecitons of 100Mbps? I could not find it in ISP websites like Airtel, TATA or Relience.
I find only in BSNL which is too costly.
My primary concern is to have high uplink speed arround 100Mbps.
Please suggest me an ISP and traiff and their plans. or please redirect me to a place where i can find some usual information. |

| Tata DOCOMO INTERNET APN does not work most of the times Posted: 10 Aug 2013 10:19 AM PDT Hi, since last month I've been using internet booster card on my android mobile with TATA DOCOMO number. When I put the sim first time in the mobile I received three APN settings, one for browsing their portal which is Tata Docomo Dive In, one for MMS and one for all other activities which is Tata Docomo Internet. But most of the time my mobile is not able to connect to the Tata Docomo Internet APN which is for general propose, but some times when it does connects i get good speed and able to access internet normally. But I can connect to the other APN Tata Docomo Dive In without a problem which is for accessing their portal but with Tata Docomo Dive In setting I'm not able to access internet through any apps like facebook, opera mini, maps and etc. I tried calling customer care but it turned out to be no use  I think Docomo is trying to cheat people by offering cheap net plans which is of no use... Any solutions??? Or anyone else facing such problem? |

it says charges applicable on minimum 3 months. may be it means they will take 3 months advance money
