Cheque Withought a Date, Returned [Banking]

They deposited the cheque themselves, bank returned it to me.

I spoke to the company and they told me to write the date myself and deposit it :Boy Yawn:

right. eventually that. not sure if they are already doing it. the government of course eventually want to have a system where challans are issued electronically so that cops can see previous records and confiscate the license (etc) if the driver has been challaned on a fairly regular basis.

also of course, you cannot carry a duplicate license in this specific case. a lot of us have given away photocopy of the license to cops without bothering to follow up. would not work with this one.

Well i called up their office and was told my recharge was entered in their records as valid for 2 months as the plan says.I told her about the problem but she insisted it will be for 2 months exact i.e till 27th Feb.Guess if anything goes wrong after 27th jan then they're in for a good hearing..

@everyone: If you're on the 4 Mbps plan and if your downstream line rate is set at 4096 Kbps, PM me. We'll collectively try to escalate this issue. I'm not going to listen to the 80% TRAI rule BS. If folks on 2 Mbps plans are getting more than what they bargained for, why should us 4 Mbps subscribers suffer?
