Following is the location on wikimapia: Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world! Do note that Nigambodh Ghat Cremation ground is about 0.5 KM upstream from this location but still a lot of people come here for religious ceremonies. As far as taking a dip in river water, it is not at all recommended because water is so dirty. If you are coming from Kashmiri gate ISBT on the ring road and traveling towards Red Fort, then on your left hand side there will be Nigam Bodh Ghat cremation ground. After that take left turn from the first cut and go straight for about 100 meters, then take right turn from dead end. Park your car right there. Climb the wall that separates ghats from road using staircase and river will be in front of you along with many small temples on river bank. You can even hire a boat for 20-50 rupees and go for a short ride in the river. |
