btw. i heard from a source about the changes google is making in android jelly bean to get around the apple's patent problem.

the google search app might get restricted to just web results. i am not sure if this is confirmed. but if true, it is going to suck badly.

apple essentially got the patent for a search box that searches through multiple databases. funny enough google has provided similar capabilities on their platform for years now. even before apple added spotlight on apple ios.

i hope that these restrictions are not applied to devices sold outside the US market where apple patent is not valid. i love the search box on google android homescreen as it lets me search through the entire device.

1. yes you can configure the PPPoE or avail our field engineer help to configure the same.
2. normally it does not go down unless if there is prolonged power outage say 6 hrs and above and also if there is any fiber cut intentionally by unwanted elements.

Oh Man! They will install some 'AONT Box (ACT Optical Network Terminator)' in the terrace of my home, and that consumes min 5kWH of power every month. I didn't know that. The bad part is i need to pay for that power.

Posts on the forum suggest that you may get around 2mbps on that wimax plan. But, it all depends on how far the bts is from your place.
