Posted: 14 Apr 2012 02:13 AM PDT It is inevitable for BEAM to increase their speeds by keeping the prices intact, like someone already pointed out in this forum, increasing speeds doesn't cost them much but its the data usage that matters. Given the entry of new competitors (eg; YOU Broadband) into market who are offering the same stuff like BEAM, they must improve themselves if they want to survive. It has happened with my ISPs before, my speeds went from 512 to 1mb with one and 1mb to 2mb with another free of cost. Personally I'm happy with 10 mbps, I just need my FUP increased. |
Crossover cable for data transfer between two pcs Posted: 14 Apr 2012 01:55 AM PDT if the motherboard has a Gigabit ethernet port (10/100/1000 mbps) , chances are it might support Auto MDIX .. Medium dependent interface - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In this case, a regular cable should be fine, as long as you assign IP addresses to both PC's. |
