lol, unproportionate much? India's sovereignty wont be in danger from a few thousand lucky to have internet connections living in metros. Govt. forgets that mass uprisings like the current Jat Induced shut-down wasn't by means of the internet. They're scared of taking action against those lot but 7 year jail for this// fail!

Lol, Most in most parts of US local channels are starting to be broadcast in HD, There are barely 5 channels in India in HD and the 3D on this box might be synthetic opposed to true 3D capture, the type u saw in the later half of Avatar 3D.

Hy I want too difference between BB Home Unlimited 750 BB Home Combo Unlimited 750 what is difference between these two plans when speed and charge are same

I a customer of bsnl broadband and I have BB Home Unlimited 499 plan , but I have charged about 604 rs. when I have not call from phone. I understand that 499+ TAX(10.3) = 550.397rs. but how I have charged 605 rs

Hi guys , I am new here.

I have 1350 BSNL connection from past 1.5 years.

But i could never get speed above 60 kbps(download)

I Registered a complaint on 27th feb 2011 about it.

They first sent technician , who took screen shots and sent it to JTO( Technician was so lame)

Nothing happens


Another tech sent my place then they

told me they have shifted my connection now from p2 to p3 i should be getting good speed.

(I am shorting my painful story else it would take 2 pages atleast)

Now I am still getting 512 kbps b/w and download nearly 60 kbps.

I checked my modem and everything with params. nothing is helping

I called 1500 about 30 times, others 15 times. No luck.:O

Can any one suggest how can i fight with such a system ?

I am residing in Jaipur /Rajasthan .

Hmm I read somewhere in the MTNL 3G section here that u have to get hsdpa activated from MTNL seperatly by paying either Rs50 or Rs500(not sure which is the correct amount)... Thank god I dont have to do this on BSNL

Now I want to set channel in my TC tuner card where I need to key in frequencies to set.
Now I found the frequency from my TV setup option and put in and had to put it with suffix 250 and than only it appears, now the problem is that not all channels are there in TV but are in my You Scod 18 set top box(STB) but the frequency of same channel is different, it is like:
for Sony channel:
189 Mhz on TV
382 Mhz on STB

So please tell me how do I key in, whether some calculations or some suffix...

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

How to configure my PC to watch TV channels using Airtel IPTV

I would like to watch Airtel IPTV on my PC, so that i can forward it to my ipad. This has been done on the bsnl iptv and people have used vlc to stream the udp with the help of wireshark. I tried the same method for airtel but with no success till date. Has anyone tried to play Airtel IPTV on PC through udp and vlc or any other method???

When i select the bridge mode my internet blinking green light goes dead. (that means my wifi - dsl - power lights are on)

While creating adialer what option to select ?

Also what entries I should make in portstart & end - Forward to internet host ?? Will it be my port mentioned in utorrent ?

I recently posted my VF 3G speeds and am content with it. Just a question:

If a phone's feature is described as 3.6 Mbps HSDPA, does it mean max speed of 3.6 Mbps? Also, has anyone tested Vodafone 3G speeds on a device supporting 10.2Mbps?

Your plan suits you because your broadband works. My connection worked for just 5 days from the date of installation. I waited for 15-16 days for the servicemen to repair the connection, but to no avail. I was fed up with the quality of the connection and most importantly with their blatant lies.

You should be more worried what will happen whe you want to disconnect the broadband:)
this is my problem i have been facing

1. The name on the bill was misspelt [my name is V.S.Gopalan and not K.S.Gopalan]
2. The internet plan i got was Combo 1Mpbs and not what i had ordered.I called them about this and said it was not possible in my area.When i requested to changet he plan they said it was not possible to do so. I argued then why was i assured that i would get the Night Booster Zoom 1 plan and the guy hung up on me.
3. Connection came on 21st December and got disconnected on 25th December.
4. I called them the next day and they lied to me that the entire reliance network in india was down and it would take 3 days to repair it. I called them everyday for 15 days till 7th January and still the broadband did not work. So i requested to terminate the connection. I got a call the next day asking to confirm the disconnection and i finalized the termination.
5. I got an email that confirmed my disconnection and that the modem and the phone equipment will be retrieved with 7-10 days.
6. I got the bill for the 1st and the 2nd month and still nobody claimed the modem or the phone.
7. Finally after 45 days someone came and took the equipment and did not provide an acknowledgment slip for it.
8. Meanwhile i am still getting calls telling me that my bill is overdue or else they will terminate the connection.
9. I got the bill for the 3rd month now and again the entire drama about bill overdue.

I mean i can understand delay, but this is utterly pathetic and stupid service that you people provide. They dont even know i terminated my connection on 7th January and i am still getting calls today [15th March] that they will disconnect my broadband plan. Seriously BSNL feels so good now.
