Its not active as yet - we called up our local dealer & paid him - it should be done ASAP he said.

You also need to contact the dealer from whom u got it - i can assume that he is in Pak only!! :)

Guys here we are trying to suggest some quick help as iChaitanya also suggested we have to go to the correct channel to share our concern with Airtel...Trust me these guys really help...i have my 9 year old Airtel mobile...and i have seens Airtel resolving issues at the earliest....they are open to be contacted anywhere twitter , face book (www.twitter.com/airtel_presence , www.facebook.com/bhartiairtelltd) and the best part is that u dont have to call them...just drop them a email at airtelpresence@airtel.in with ur name,no. and problem they will call u to resolve ur problem..

i cant hook on to their 3g network at all from out here in gurgaon. i tend to get the signal 100% of the time though.. is their service live at all in gurgaon?

That aside, I think it would be interesting to try and procure bandwidth from China through Nepal or Sikkim, because I know China has a lot of cables from it's east coast to Japan and the US, so it might make US routes much cheaper (if technically feasible to get them in to India, of course)... though I suspect the Indian government would not like that for security reasons.

If we did that, it might also give us a place to terminate VOIP calls as well (of course, we still can't legally assign phone numbers with the Indian country code), but most VOIP wholesalers are selling China and India routes at very similar prices.

i tried to get in ritchie street but they dont have huawei at all only zte and micromax, and ZTE only 3.6mbps is available and it is not worth it.so order from ebay...

I am also facing the same issue from december 8 my speed become 0 in every 10 second i have done the recharge of 4200 i dont know why its happing i called coustomer care and spoke with senior person Mr salish he is the most senior person who is taking care of the 3g network he told he has escalated the isssue but form reply was every thing is fine from their end i think we all have to call again mr salish to make him aware that this is the legal issue and he need to take it up seriously .

please call you all who is having speed 0 problem to coustomer care and tell them we want to talk senior person Mr salish

once you connected to him tell him that this is the issue and please take it up

i called him multiple times but he is thinking that this is not at all any issue .

please post if you still have this issue or it has been rectified
