and well... i was not looking for intelligent comedy. but this one was pretty bad even by slapstick comedy standards.

Bsnl 3g with 21 mbps modem

If we do speedtest early morning(before 6am), it will show 120Mbps, 160Mbps..even if the operator and datacard supports max. 7.2Mbps. After 7am it will come under 5Mbps. There will be some problem with speedtest.net with wireless internet speed tests.

Here in bangalore also its Rs.3500. So i bought it from Cochin at 2.6k including shipping. You can check locally for a price under 3K.

of course license sharing would eventually happen. but i do not see airtel offering it rightaway.

but it would be cool if at least the major operators can offer pan india availability through such deals. but i do not see that happening at launch.

vodafone might be delayed their own launch prefering to get into deals first and launch it throughout the country.

but i really doubt any of the players would have complete presence throughout india in the next couple of months.

BSNL 3G strength/stability check?

For BSNL Dataone wired broadband, we use the Modem Admin page(192.168.1.1) and check the SNR and Attenuation values to find the connection strength/stability.

Is there any way to check the same with wireless BSNL 3G broadband? Is there any Modem Admin page for BSNL 3G USB Datacard modem?
