Problem with Epson Stylus TX111 Printer

Hi guys...so have this wonderful Epson TX111.
Have just re replaced black cartridge with genuine Epson because the aftermarket product would only print top half of script in spite of using half a tank of ink with All mtce efforts to rectify. Now the Epson cartridge is worse with just a few dots.... no script.
