Fedora 8 not booting properly

I have Acer aspire laptop and i installed Fedora 8 Linux based operating system. But my system not bootup/ startup properly. I tried to reinstall it but problem is still there. It automatically shut down after pressing switch on button. What i have to do to solve my problem? Please help me as soon as possible.

Driver Cleaner removing registry for Crossbar filters

I was using the Driver Cleaner on my computer and I found that it is removing the CLSID registry which is used for Crossbar filters for capture devices. I tried to use the Driver cleaner two times and both the times it happens. I was clearing the Nvidia drivers and ATI drivers.

When it deleted the registry then the tuner devices are not able to start and I am unable to add the Crossbar filters

I have ASUS EEE PC 1005HA. I am having the dual boot system using the Linux ubuntu and Windows 7. I need to run the Windows 7 repair at startup.
