Does the Ubuntu 10.4 helps reduce the electricity bill?

Hello friends I have got an unusual problem from the past few days,as my videos which are there on my computer gets freezed whenever I try to play it. 1) I think setting the router to DMZ mode for the server open it to attacks. Server keep reporting that someone trying to log into the system with usernames that wasn't on the server. This happens everyday.

Hi, I have XP on Fujitsu Amilo laptop. I have sound only through headphones. On the control panel I only have headphones as a playback device. Unplugging headphones gives faint sound. How do I install my internal speakers, or get them to work again? I did disable them and had no sound. I reintalled sound driver and only headphones came back. thanks
