it has been the BSNL IPTV that has been a failure
Airtel IPTV has actually worked out pretty reasonable for those in areas where it is present..

Huewei modem not recognized.

I had changed plan from BBG FN 500 to ULF900. I never got speeds above 2.5Mbps
Always i use to get around 1Mbps and speeds used to touch 2.5Mbps if i keep 3-4 files download in DAP in extreme acceleration mode.
In my case this is a useless plan as speeds are nowhere near as promised.

I escalated issue to NOC and NIB but all they were saying is to check speed at different points of time. Its waste of time talking to bsnl employees.

I have changed plan twice and both times they did it in 3 days. I placed a request online for change of plan.

First u need to realign the dish to Meast @ 91.5. see dis:

There is always an easier way: Setting up sundirect for measat 3. Do it Yourself


For open tech STB:

1. Step 1: Go to Menu and select “Installation” option.
2. Step 2: Select “Edit TP” and press OK on the remote.
3. Step 3: Press Green color key on the remote for adding “New TP”
4. Step 4: “New TP” pop up window display on the screen with “Frequency, Symbol rate, Polarity, FEC”
5. Step 5: Fill all “New Parameters” and select OK “Signal strength & Quality “displayed on top.
6. Step 6: Press Red color key on the remote for “Searching”
7. Step 7: After Scanning Press Exit and watch our New channels on “New Satellite”
