I am Radhesh and i read ur reply on DC++ for Tata Indicom Users.
Actually i am using Tata Indicom (Wired) internet also i m living in Thakur Complex, Kandivali-East.
And i am new to this software, and would like to know how to operate it from the scratch or beginning.
Can you help me???

Under pressure from the civil society to take action against broadcasters airing adult and abusive content, the Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry on Wednesday cracked the whip, ordering shows like Bigg Boss-4 (on Colors) and Rakhi Ka Insaaf (Imagine) to air only after 11pm.Also, the ministry's notice states that such shows cannot have any repeat telecast between 5 am and 11 pm nor can clippings of these reality shows be aired on news channels during that time. Channels like Colors and Imagine on their part will have to ensure that no clippings of the programme are provided to any other news or non-news channels for telecast at anytime during the restricted time bands.The ministry has issued these notices under the uplinking guidelines and under section 20 of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995. According to sources, broadcasters stand to take 30 per cent dip in their revenues generated from advertising due to the ministry's order. They said Rs 90-100 crore in advertising revenue is riding on Bigg Boss-4 subject to the show generating an average weekly television ratings (TVR) of 3.2 to 3.5. "Bigg Boss plays a crucial role in the overall weekly ratings of Colors. Airing it after 11 pm specially when nearly 40 more episodes are remaining, may dent the overall revenue target of Colors as its weekly ratings may take a dip," a senior media planner said. A top media buyer said Colors may have to take up to 30 per cent hit in its projected revenue from Bigg Boss as advertisers come on board on conditions of certain cost per rating points during the prime time telecast and also on the repeat telecasts. "I&B notice clearly pushes these shows in the late night band. This may not be good for Colors and Imagine," a media buyer said. But the I&B Ministry issued the notices on the recommendations of Inter Ministerial Committee (IMC), constituted by it to look into the complaints against violation of the programme and advertising codes. IMC observed that the programme is not suitable for unrestricted public exhibition especially at prime time when a large number of children are watching Tv.

Ok.thanx for the reply man.
but the thing is that.i dont want a connection for browsing.
I got net at office connection.
This new connection is used only for downloading games,movies n related stuffs at night....

can u reccomend a good wireless connection with good download speed n affordable tarriff.???
wot about BSNL EVDO???how much will be the total cost? tarrif plans??? am new here in banlore...thats y such nooby questions...

In my observation, Huawei Mobile Connect shows 5 bars when you have at least -87dBm.

As I said earlier, the bandwidth (3.6 or 7.2) is shared by a number of people. That's what is called as Contention Ratio.
For BSNL Broadband, they have mentioned it on their website. It's 1:25. This means that the same bandwidth would be shared by max 25 customers. But it's not disclosed for BSNL 3G on their website. If the number of users are less, you'll get good speed. If the number of users are more, the speed will be less. Attaining the full bandwidth is possible only if you are the only active user when online.
