Network ID grayed out cannot change domain/workgroup

I am having one issue with the device of mine which is running with the Windows XP professional service pack 2. I am trying to join a computer to the domain but while looking to perform the same from the Control Panel> Computer Name tab i come to know that the domain and workgroup are grayed out and does not got anything to work with the same. hi guys! i'm using Avast pro from 2 years, now suddenly it has started showing a warning message that it is going to obsolete in few days.

it is regularly updating itself and no other problem has occurred till now.

today i tried to overclock my i5 650 processor on my dh55hc bord and all went wrong.

Connecting IDE HDD & DVDROM on the same cable

I have one SATA HDD & one IDE HDD.
I have a newer motherboard so it has only one slot for connecting 80pin cables.
I am connecting my DVDROM & IDE HDD on the same cable. My HDD (IDE) comes in the middle slot and DVDROM is installed on the other end of the cable.
