How to turn BBM broadcast off?

I am using blackberry Phone and I am very fed-up of using my blackberry messenger as i am not very fond of it so i just don't want to use it. How can i just stop it's working i have been searching for the option but did not get any where.what can be the solution for this problem and where to find the option to close the blackberry messenger. please suggest me the best possible solution to resolve

I am having one issue with the updating the OS in blackberry. I have downloaded the latest update on the Blackberry but when i am trying to update the same it is not updated. I have deleted the Vendor.xml from the system and let me tell you that this is not solving the issue of mine. If any one is having the knowledge then please let me know about the same.

I am new to this and have no clue even after checking how to do this. I see codes but not sure how to implement it so it "reads" right. I found this, but nto sure how to put it correctly for it to read out ok with my counter.

computer not turning on

I have samsung netbook with windows xp home installed on it.

Few days ago, when we tried to turn it off, it didnt. And not even restart, standby were not working.
