Just confirmed , its True HD 1080i and 5.1 surround sound
May I ask from where ?

To me it looked as if it was an upscaled signal , looking at way the SC logo and fonts appear . And the pictures were not that top quality when compared to Fifa WC telecast.

Raavan in NDTV Imagine on sunday 12th september in 16:9 format

Posted: 13 Sep 2010 02:24 AM PDT

Hello friends

Did any one notice that Raavan on NDV imagine was actually broadcast in 16:9 widescreen format yesterday?. I am sick of viewing all SD channels which are originally in 4:3 formats, stretched to fit widescreen LCDs...

It was a nice change to see something actually fitting my LCD screen..wish the movie was better though...

hope soon most of the channels will begin broadcasting in 16:9..otherwise no point in buying LCD tvs.

what's the solution
i tried jdownloader or rdesk etc software but not worked for me.

How is that possible via a 2G SIM ?

So we are fools who are paying almost the same amount to get a limited 1 GB download via 3G SIM while you are getting unlimited via 2G ?

Tata DOCOMO GPRS Settings

Posted: 13 Sep 2010 01:57 AM PDT

Hi,
Firstly thanks to all the users for helping me out to make my GPRS work on my laptop.
Here's a brief of what I did, I have Nokia 5230:
First sent an SMS to 52270 saying INTERNET
Then I got a reply asking me to save the Msg to set it as Default configuration.
I then connected my Mobile through USB cable to my PC
Launched PC suit and then I was able to connect to world of Internet...

I also did some modification they were :
In PC:
Navigated to C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia PC Suite 7\ and opened operators.xml in Notepad and replaced TATA.DOCOMO.DRIVE.IN TO TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET

In Mobile:
Settings > Connectivity > Destinations > WAP services > changed Access point name to TATA.DOCOMO.DRIVE.IN TO TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET then clicked on "Options" in same WAP services > Changed proxy port number to 8080

that's it.......... I could use Internet on my Laptop...:)

If there are Typos please excuse me....
I think it may not be necessary to make all the modification suggested above in phone and PC but now I am least bothered about the root cause as I got what I wanted, hence leave upto the next boarder to go to root cause..

Rel NetConnect Broadband+ USB modem to Beetal 450BX1 Router

Posted: 13 Sep 2010 01:46 AM PDT

Hello,

Is it possible to use my (ZTE) Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ USB modem to access the internet, and connect my Beetel 450BX1 ADSL2 + Router on the same PC to turn it into a WiFi hotspot? Both Reliance and Airtel denied this, the first pushing me to buy their own WiFi router, and the latter pushing me to retake their DSL connection.

Please advise. I have found nothing on the net except something on "port forwarding" which I do not understand.

Regards,
R
