I have been charged for some downloads in March month's bill, whereas I know that, I didn't download any paid game/apps during last month. The download charges mentioned in the bill are as below :
igmicromax_gm_99 : 99 Rs.
I raised complaint mail asking for clarification on what these charges were for, and on the phone and in email reply, they didn't give any clarification and simply said that download charges were valid and they can't reverse it. I kept asking for details on what was downloaded and from which site and they didn't provide any details. One year back, I had similar issue and at that time, customer care was responsive and they found it was invalid and reversed those charges.
I notice some shift in their quality of customer service since last few months. Earlier, if I raised complaint, I would get answer in stipulated answers and someone would call and update on progress. Now I have to raise complaint and keep following up and they don't bother to call or explain or reply mail. Even if u call them, the people receiving calls hardly know anything and they have stereo-typed and sometimes rude way of answering the calls. and later they dare to send u mail or sms to ask for feedback of that cust.care. call, which is amazing.
I hope they improve the quality of their service to how it was before. Also if they charge customer for anything, they must have clear details of what you are charged for.
I have clarified to them, if u can't explain and provide me details, I won't be paying those charges till then.

well, it all started after Airtel sends a promotional 4G sim welcome kit at my home along with Iphone 5S brochure. i had already owned 5S but was not so fanatic about having 4G on such a small screen handset. but since Airtel had done half of my job of bringing the sim, i decided to swap the new 4G LTE 128K sim with my old nano sim. Activation of new sim went through smooth as per the procedure mentioned in the kit BUT...... 4G never got activated, boomdddddd.
then started series of calls to cc, 4G helpline. bla bla bla, network issue, network upgradation, severe congestion and what not. although i knew things wern't so smooth while i was using my other seperate 4G router but this issue went on to my ego as Airtel sends the sim and then bullies around my time and effort. Also to my surprise Airtel is MASTER in closing the complaint without resolution. its been a while since Airtel learned this art from Mr. Docomo.
following all this drama, i decided Socail media route, twitter went and gave my msg to airtel and airtel presence team started working on my issue but only to lip service but no actual work. Also, send mail to Airtel mail ID, BUT TILL TODAY NO REVERT. i am not surprised if my mail has reached AIrtel. heard on other website that these MAIL ID are now filled with lot of customer mails and mails are either rejected or bounced back. mind you its already been 10 days since i had send the mail.
well, now my verdict. i think Airtel has forgotten that their Network has still 70 % customer who demands QUALITY, CONSISTENCY and RELIABILITY. trust me 40% of those users are CORPORATE(DATA & VOICE) users. fortunatly my house is at a location where i receive Full signals from all operators Except Docomo as towers are nearby and BTS are shared. But unfortunately Vodafone, IDEA does not provide 3G in karnataka, Aircel and Docomo are CRAP and BSNL only govt knows what. i am left with no choice but to be with AIRTEL for all my data usage.Also thanks to tough Cabling laws that i do not have proper fiber connectivity till my house.
after all this, i am DESPERATELY waiting for Rjio to launch some quality service and reliable network. heard that service will not be cheap as compared to monsoon hungama 2003 of reliance. but i do not need that cheap service either.
Lastly, Airtel this is really bad to treat your customer in this way and i am really fragile in this case and will move to others once alternative is available.

ACT Broadband Bangalore Reviews Posted: 08 Apr 2014 01:08 AM PDT Hello Readers, My name is Vivek Sinha Anurag and i am going to post some "great" work shown by Act Broadband. I applied for ACT Broadband 5 Mbps plan [its having cap value of 35GB after that speed will reduce to 256 kbps] by calling their customer care on 16th Aug 2011. I was surprised to see their lightening fast response as the representative came to my doorstep the very next day and on 17th Aug 2011 Mr Ashitt O.S. collected the money and documents and told me that withing 5 days i will get my connection and i even got sms confirmation that my request no is 142263. Now the real story started. Even after 6 days no one ever bothered to check my request so i called customer care [ 080-42840000] to remind them and i was told that i will get it withing next 2 days. I waited for next 2 days and called them again. I was surprised to learn a new technical term from them that they are "Uploading network" hence its taking time and soon i will get my connection. Since my work was getting affected because of their delay i applied for a BSNL connection too. Now today is 5th September and i am still waiting for the connection and to my surprise i got the BSNL broadband last week. I tried escalating this matter and asked the customer care for any high level contact and they said that i need to mail helpdesk@acttv.in. I emailed them but i got no response. Please note some points regarding ACT broadband before applying ACT broadband 1. They dont have nodal officer/appellate authority [against TRAI rules and i have already escalated this matter to TRAI officials with the help of pgportal.gov.in] 2. They have a customer base of 2500 users in bangalore and they are not able to manage even this small number. 3. They DO NOT PROVIDE STATIC IP [even if they claim to do so] 4. Their customer care service is useless. All you will losse is your balance by talking to them 5. They can "Upload network" [You can imagine the understanding capability of their technicians] 6. They are fast in collecting money but lazy in delivering service Final conclusion: To be on safe side stay away from them else you will suffer like me. Morning shows the day and even before using their service i am suffering. Don't know what will happen when i get the connection and i face any problem that time. |
Frequent Disconnection / ADSL blinking Issue on MTNL Broadband Posted: 08 Apr 2014 01:08 AM PDT Hi, I am a user of 849NU plan of MTNL Triband service since August based out of Navi Mumbai. All of August, i was very happy to have a lovely connection and good speeds, with a pretty good tariff. But now since the past 15 days I am suffering from very intermittent net connection. Although I am connected to the internet, sometimes the webpages take ages to open, and never open, while at other times it opens instantly. Also downloading has the same pattern, sometimes I get very good speeds of upto 200 Kbps, while other times there is no download. Although all download sites show good Triband Speed, but it is the intermittent connection that is the problem. This problem has crept up in the last 15 odd days, and I have tried everything but no change has been noticed. Has anyone else faced a similar problem, and if yes, whats the work around. The people at MTNL classify this as a slow connection problem, but that is exactly not the issue, as I do get good speeds intermittently. Somebody please help me. |

Posted: 07 Apr 2014 11:56 PM PDT recently i got this spectranet connection. They did underground fiber optic cabling and started the service called spectranet FOX in my area. the plan is 12 to 16 mbps for 6 months. looking at the speeds they will provide, i got my airtel BB service discontinued.
I AM HIGHLY DISSATISFIED WITH THE CONNECTION.
1) promised speeds 12-16 mbps ,you never get the promised speeds throughout the day. even right now i am getting just 3-5 mbps. why do ISPs do this? come on! if you dont want to give constant speeds then why the hell do you have to make false promises? when they visit your home for a demonstration, such good marketing skills, overselling their product, promising this and that. but when it comes to the connection, its very poor.
2) its a daily glitch in the connection. from timings 9 pm to 12 pm i always get very low speeds like 1 mbps and very high pings touching 200 ms. i've got to play online games , but with such a pathetic ping im not able to play the games properly. and this is very irritating! and this happens everyday
3) when i had the airtel connection i used to watch alot of youtube, surf internet and the data limit was 8 gb. with these activities not even half of my data limit was used, and around 4-5 gb was left unused per month.seldom, i used to download movies because once the data limit was reached, then speed degraded to 256kpbs(reason to change spectranet ISP). using this connection, in last 1 week the 5 gb of data usage has been shown in my spectranet account(5gb data volume used) i myself have downloaded around 700mb of data THAT'S IT! i can accept even if i had watched 1080p HD videos on youtube, i could accept that i could've consumed data but still cant find what has used 5gb. if it could've been a theft over wi-fi, but whenever i am at home i connect through LAN cable and switch of the wifi service and whenever im not at home i switch off the router. then how come 5 gb of data has been consumed?! and i cant buy this fact that ONLY net surfing at watching videos on youtube would've consumed so much of data. i really find that spectranet is a cheat on this part.
if someone using the same net plans from spectranet and facing the same issues please reply and put forward some solutions to my problem, so as how to get the promised service from my ISP.

Two nights before my mom was driving the car and some young boy ( around 19-21 ) on the motorcycle tried to overtake when there was no space and landed up banging with our car .. My bua was also present in the car .. This guy told my mom she has to pay for his bike damages and says that the fault is hers .. My mom 64 years is assuring me that the fault is not hers and even my bua said that the fault was not hers ..
Heres whats happened he told my mom for her number and he took her cell phone and gave himself a missed call thereby getting her number .. My mom told him then n there that lets go to the cops but he refused saying lets sort the mess here .. She told him that he pays for our car damage and she pays for his bike damage .. The name plate fell off and this guy took it with him to his house ..
Today he called on her number so I answered the phone .. I told him to talk to me .. He said to pay up to which I told him to come to the police .. He said my mom promised she will pay .. I said NO she said you pay our damage we pay yours .. Hes refusing to believe that the fault is his .. Anyways after arguing he hung up .. Now after few hours his elder bro calls and says to pay up .. I said lets go to cops to which he tells me that he has very high contacts , I said so do I and then he says the matter will escalate into a fist fight if I dont pay up ..
Please guide me as to what I should do ..... Ive told him to wait till Monday as im slightly tied up .. What should I do ?? Should I pay up inspite of it not being our fault ??? |

Posted: 07 Apr 2014 11:03 PM PDT If i can relate one word with ACT BB, I would call them MONEY SUCKERS! this is how my latest bill looks like ![]() Yes, i have been charged for 2 months and if you are ACT BB customer, you will know how pathetic their customer care actually is, first you listen to all advertisements, wait in the queue for about 10 minutes and they you will speak to a person, who has no clue what he/she is talking about. In my case, i was told that i have been charged twice because, YOUR PLAN has been changed from Post-Paid to Pre-Paid and YOU HAVE to pay 2 months and we are doing the same for ALL customers. I asked them very simple questions 1. How did you take this decision unilaterally, without customer agreeing to it? 2. Why dint you inform me earlier about this? 3. If i have a dispute about this, why cant i pay for only one month? - Yes, you cannot pay for one month only, because ACT HAS TOOK THAT DECISION and you CANNOT challenge them - Damn almighty stuff, we are the GOD of BB. As usual tech did not have an answer for the same, i asked for a call back and this morning i got a call from their escalations team
Just checked with Airtel, their SLOTS are filled in my Area and i cannot have a net connection as of now! ![]() And if you are someone NEW and looking for ACT Broadband, consider the below points 1. Act BB is good for downloading torrents - ONLY torrents 2. Most of the time, they have connection issues, If any existing ACT customer shows you their speed test connection, Ask them to perform similar tests for servers outside India, specially USA! you will know the difference. Or if you are an existing ACT BB customer, try playing videos in FB and you will know the difference or any of the video buffering sites. 3. You get a Ethernet cable directly from a box and if there is a power outage of more than 20+ minutes, you will not have internet, also if there is a Cable cut - You will not have internet connection for a week. 4. Report any technical issues for which a technician has to visit your place, you will have to followup more than 4 times (wait time more than 10 minutes) Reference Numbers 0001824776 1825461 - complaint number |

Lok Sabha 2014 Elections in Gurgaon Posted: 07 Apr 2014 07:19 PM PDT AAP has already confirmed that Yogendra Yadav would be their candidate from Gurgaon. Current MP is Rao Inderjit Singh who won on a Congress seat but moved to BJP few months ago.
And there are now reports that Congress might field Sharmila Tagore as their candidate from Gurgaon.
Congress may field Sharmila Tagore from Gurgaon — www.financialexpress.com (Pataudi is actually part of Gurgaon so she is not really an outsider)
I am guessing AAP has a good shot in Gurgaon if this is what the situation looks like. Though dad says that Rao has a very good reputation in the rural parts of Gurgaon. Hopefully the urban Gurgaon would vote for a smarter choice this time around! |
