WHICH ISP?

Okay. This would have been biggest question but which ISP should i go for?
I am using YOU Telecom and believe me it sucks from it's root.(getting the depth?)
I just Called up the customer care guy and started conversation. I told him about my PING issue.
All he understood was bullshit and ended my call unexpectedly.
I recommend TO NOT TO GO FOR YOU TELECOM.
They Give service after 2-3 weeks if you pay them or not. they are late for 1 week by a given date.
Now my Question is which ISP should i go for?
Tell me your experience with ISPs and if you can then make it relate to gaming.
i left gaming for 2 days because of ping. hardest thing I've ever done.
Complaining to YOU Telecom is useless just like asking FLAVORED MILKSHAKE from a cow.
I hope you'll help me choosing correct one.

Dish tv removes 3 hd channels and does not reduce the tariff

Is this legal?. On april 1 they removed history HD , CNBC HD and Colours HD. They make it ala carte and are charging exorbitant amount and have replaced these 3 channels with upscaled channels. 

 

Can they do this?

My aging HP Photosmart 8158 printer finally gave up yesterday and sister needs printer frequently now a days.  I already had HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 AIO Printer in mind.  Finally bought it today for 6k from a known vendor who supplies computer products to our company.  This printer retails at 6.7k on Flipkart, so this was an excellent deal.  Some features mentioned below.

  • Wireless connectivity.
  • HP Ink Advantage cartridges (HP 678 Black and Color)
  • HP ePrint support.
  • Apple Airprint support.
  • HP Wireless Direct support.
  • Automatic print on both sides support.
  • Scan through web portal.
    Took a couple of prints and all were good enough.  The automatic print on both sides amazed me as I have seen this only on high end laser printers.  Scanned some old photos and it looks great too.  Printouts fired from my mobile/tablet works fine using the native print support in android 4.4 but the print comes comparatively slower which is probably because it prints on 'Normal' or 'Best' mode and in mobile I couldn't find an option to toggle this.
     
    Overall a pretty solid printer for the price.

Which inverter to buy?

The show is doing wonderfully well. I personally love it. It's different, no cheap comedy and pure entertainment.

 

TRP wise it's doing extremely well. Currently at the top in it's category (even above the likes of KBC, Jhalak Dikhla Ja, etc.) and overall 3rd.

Migration of account from Indicom to Docomo

I received an email last month that Tata Indicom was ceasing its residential ISP operations and all existing customers would be migrated to Tata Docomo while keeping the same plan on the same wiring infrastructure. In that email, it was mentioned that KYC procedure for the Docomo account was to be completed by 15th April, failing which the connection would be terminated at April end. Now, someone from Tata was to call to setup an appointment for a house visit to collect the KYC documents.

 

Well, so far, no one from Tata has called, and it's the 15th today. I have sent them 3-4 emails over the past 10 days, and the basic reply has been that my case was escalated to priority, and that's about it.

 

Does anyone know more? If you're a Indicom customer, has your KYC visit occurred?

MTNL Broadband is inserting Adphonso powered malware on all customer devices

I have MTNL ADSL broadband in Delhi. Today I saw this popup on the side when I connected online (I removed my telephone number from the image):

After looking for the inserted code, I discovered that MTNL is inserting iframes inside the webpages!

 

The popup is being loaded from http://www.adphonso.com/testmtnl.php?CSID=22221504@mtnl

 

(I changed the telephone number in the URL above) More scrips are inserted from MTNL address 203.94.243.40

 

The adphonso website belongs to an adversiting company and that is a big problem :(

 

 

Are you guys seeing this sort of popups too? If yes, do you think is it safe?

 

I think this way inserting codes inside webpages is not good for the privacy of users.

I got a message that from 26-Mar-2014 there would be a Tariff Revision in Pune.

My current plan INR 650 for 5-GB Download/ Month is being revised to 749.

 

It also asked to look further at site http://www.airtel.in/dsl-faq for further information.

 

I got this message in the Bill for February-2014.
