I am using you broadband in wakad pune. My experience with you is very bad.
The speeds are never as per the plan you are on. On weekends, its almost unusable. The call center people take a lot of time to answer your calls. Many times i had hang up as no one was picking up the call.
My recent experience is worst. My net was down for more than a week. And the suport person arrived only after my recharge was expired and i refused to renew as the net was down (I received a lot of calls from them to renew). Reminding to renew is the only thing they are good at.
Please beware of you broadband.

795 - 2 mbps for 8 GB & 512 kbps beyond. 

 

Basically, they have cloned the 900 plan & removed the 350 calls & made it as per existing landline plan. Might turn to be expensive if you dont have a higher range landline plan. If you are in the 900 plan, you are better off continuing perhaps


On a second glance, looks like they have brought back the stand alone BB plan of 800, but instead of 1 mbps till 6 GB, they have replaced it with 2 mbps till 8 GB & reduced Rs.5 to that plan..


People on BB Home ULD 800, should probably look to migrate to this one. But yeah, better read the fine print to make sure you are not loosing something..

Hi guys, I wanted to ask that i just got my reliance braodband today but i use my PC for gaming i bought a N150 wireless classic router i want to use Wifi on my Android mobile and on PC i will use the router with wire no problem with that but my configure not working when i use it through router but when i directly connect Reliance RJ45 cable to PC it works but whenever i try to use it with router it don't work it but sometimes it works with router too so can someone help me configure it please i am really going crazy over this please help guys :) Thanks in Advance

Hi, i am new to india and resides in New Delhi, i am using Airtel Broadband, before asking for the installlation i saw the handbill which entails the different plans, i asked for the 20GB (Turbo) a month which is stated to be Rs1299-/ per month at 4Mbps speed.

 

but i was surprise after like 28days i was billed Rs642.52-/

 

now i dont understand anymore.

 

also i have a landline with the connection which they said i have 1000 minutes of local calls, i have been using it, but i wish to recharge it so i can use it to make international calls, how is this possible?

 

I will really appreciate if somebody can tell me about how airtel charges and how i can recharge the landline.

Need help chosing a good connection. Mumbai, Gorai-Charkop area.

Hi, I am new to this site. tried browsing some old posts, but figured I specifically ask this question again, because I am unable to get a conclusive answer.

 

I am currently using TATA Photon+. It works fine. The issue and reliability is not the problem, but there is problem with the cost. I have an unlimited plan, but it only allows me to download 10Gb per month at around Rs.1600. If I download above that limit, I am charged a few paise per Mb that I have downloaded. I am considering changing over to a cheaper option which allows more download at decent speed and reliable connection(by reliable I mean, doesn't die out for a couple of hours all of a sudden). I plan on changing my photon+ scheme to a minimum prepaid plan, just as a backup, while using a new cheaper connection for downloading movies, software etc.

I used to have MTNL Triband earlier, but it has reliability issues. If they have sorted that out, then I don't mind going back to Triband.

 

I need Help in deciding what would be the best cost effective option to go for, for a person living in Gorai-Charkop area, Borivali(W), Mumbai; who has a usage of around 25Gb per month and needs decent speeds.

Can anyone tell me which one of the following is the best buy:

Hathway

YOU Broadband

Or maybe something from TATA Indicom itself.

LG G Pad 8.3 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4

So I am travelling to Hong Kong next week and was looking to buy a tablet since my Nexus 7 had conked off a few months ago. 7" tablets feel too small to me and 10" is too large so I have decided to get a 8-8.5" one. I had zeroed in on these two and the iPad Mini 2. After some deliberation, I have decided to stick to Android only. Are there any other options available in this size? Key differences in specs are G Pad has a 1920x screen vs a 2560x on the Samsung (doesnt really matter to me, both are pretty high res) but based on youtube videos, the quality of Samsung's screen seems to be better. Processor is Snapdragon 600 vs Snapdragon 800 on the Samsung and a better camera. Rest looks more or less similar. Price is around 17k for LG and around 24k for Samsung. LG's track record for Android updates seems a bit sketchier than Samsung and I don't think this tablet sells a lot. Which one would be a better choice?

 

My main uses would be reading Manga, playing games occasionally and streaming off a NAS,

Just started. One episode. Started a bit slow. But got interesting at the end. Would be keeping an eye on this one.

The series is set in a small town in Pennsylvania Amish country and features an enigmatic ex-con posing as a murdered sheriff who imposes his own brand of justice while also cooking up plans that serve his own interests.


Looks to have a religious angle which is something that I am not a fan of.
