On a personal level, 

 

Upon logging in, it is showing my brother's account details, though his account itself has no connection with mine. I have an online account, he doesnt. I just recharged a few times on his behalf & provided my email ID. 

 

So, yeah /facepalm. Have raised a complaint and once its fixed, need to be able to have two separate IDs. & use them separately.

There was a pilot flying a small single engine charter plane, with a couple of very important executives on board. He was coming into Seattle airport through thick fog with less than 10m visibility when his instruments went out. So he began circling around looking for landmark. After an hour or so, he starts running pretty low on fuel and the passengers are getting very nervous. Finally, a small opening in the fog appears and he sees a tall building with one guy working alone on the fifth floor. The pilot banks the plane around, rolls down the window and shouts to the guy "Hey! Where am I?" To this, the solitary office worker replies "You're in a plane." The pilot rolls up the window, executes a 275 degree turn and proceeds to execute a perfect blind landing on the runway of the airport 5 miles away. Just as the plane stops, so does the engine as the fuel has run out.

The passengers are amazed and one asks how he did it. "Simple" replies the pilot, "I asked the guy in that building a simple question. The answer he gave me was 100 percent correct but absolutely useless, therefore that must be Microsoft's support office and from there the airport is just a while away."

Custom Plans on Airtel Broadband

Airtel called me today and said since I'd taken Smartbytes for 12gb last month, they wanted to offer 125 fup plan(80gb now) at the same speed(8mbps) for 50rs extra.

 

I also heard they are giving 3g at 2g rates in my area these days. Is airtel on a PR improving spree? Anyone got offers like this?

The title says it all.  Max budget is 35k.  5 star rating is essential.  Usage is very less, mostly 3 - 4 hrs a day.

Switched to Beam Fiber from BSNL

Was using BSNL since 2006 and pretty happy shud have faced downtime for 5-6 times yes 5-6 times, that stable was BSNL however due to their pathetic plans and useless CC, too much noise in the Landline decided to shift to Beam Fiber, We recently shifted to a new place there were 2 options BSNL or Beam so hence choosed Beam

 

Opted for 599 plan which gives 4 mbps till 25 GB and 768kbps thereafter

 

The executive came and installed with 2 days provided username and password and as of now connection is stable.

Hathway docsis 50mbps wifi setup

Hi,

I have seen many having the problem setting up WIFI on hathway. I am using Dlink Dir 600 router. I am facing the same issue. I had called customer care but no luck.

Can anyone please help with the wifi setup for this new plan.

 

i have few questions-

* Do we need to have configure router with static IP or have Dynamically?

* What about the mac address?

 

If anyone can post the setup pics or the configures screenshot that will be really helpful to all the router owners.

In view of rationalization, BSNL revised the plan charges and hiked Rs.49 from Rs.950 to Rs.999 by changing the plan name to new as BB Home Combo ULD 999 CS22 by allowing the special discount on payment of Annual / Two Year & Three year advance rental charges with out any revision for existing Broadband Plans.

 

Basically monthly plan is costliter. But 2/3 year plans work out much cheaper now. 

 

Also, I believe this is Rest of Tamil Nadu excluding Chennai. Someone please correct, if wrong.

Thought I would start another thread for people who have actually used this service to describe their experience. They have started advertising quite heavily in Bombay and their plans seem pretty decent. Their 600kbps UL plan would be excellent for me. I really like the way they have bill limits for their limited plans as well. That shows they understand consumer concerns about enormous bills and have designed their plans to allay them. So how good is their service? Any down time? How quickly do they respond to complaints? Really any information from people who have used Tikona would be appreciated.

Finished first season. It reminds me of two shows... First Collar on how it is presented. Mad Men because the character of Harvey Specter is so freaking similar to Don Draper.

The problem is that Specter is like 5% of what Draper is. It just does not feel solid enough. When Draper talks, you listen. When Specter talks, you hope that he would say something that would impress you. Sadly, it does not happen very often.
