Installation taking forever

Hi,

 

I applied for ACT broadband and have submitted all the application form and given the required cheque(this was was 2 weeks ago).Still there is no sign of installation.I have to say this is worst broadband service I have ever experienced..I want the ACT representative  to take immediate action. I m from Mylapore.The guy who collected the cheque is not giving any concrete answer.I want this solved soon or otherwise I'd rather stick with my old broadband. I wanted this connection basically for the high speeds which i need for my office use.I m really running out of patience. I will furnish my details below  and i want a reply from an ACT representative

I am not sure what to make of this. 
 

Those who did not pay for electricity between October 2012 and April 2013 will owe only half of what they were billed. The government will supply the six crores to cover that massive discount.
The announcement was made today by senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia, who said that Delhi residents who supported the party's campaign against inflated power prices, would be given 50% subsidy and would be charged no penalty. Manish said that households who did pay their bills during this period will not be refunded.
In October 2012, AAP urged residents of Delhi to state in writing that they would not pay their water and power bills to protest against over-priced utilities. 10 lakh people signed the petition; 24,000 defaulted on their bills.

Tikona Broadband User Experiences

Thought I would start another thread for people who have actually used this service to describe their experience.

They have started advertising quite heavily in Bombay and their plans seem pretty decent. Their 600kbps UL plan would be excellent for me.

I really like the way they have bill limits for their limited plans as well. That shows they understand consumer concerns about enormous bills and have designed their plans to allay them.

So how good is their service? Any down time? How quickly do they respond to complaints? Really any information from people who have used Tikona would be appreciated.

Worst COMPANY..Sends LEGAL NOTICES if u disconnect

Hi All,

After using TIKONA for about 4 to 5 months and making a number of complaints, we received no response for the Slow speed and frequent disconnections.

Then after I asked them to disconnect my connection, first they did not do it for a month, then after disconnecting they send me a bill for that month.

We told them that the disconnection request was given a month earlier, they said they cant do anything as the Bill is already generated. Then we asked them to adjust it against the deposit amount we paid initially, which also they denied.

AND THEN they send a LEGAL NOTICE and its not only for the bill amount but they ALSO ask me to PAY FOR THE MODEM(Rs 1500) WHICH THEY NEVER INSTALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

This is a COMPLETE BULLY COMPANY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DONT EVEN THINK OF GOING FOR A CONNECTION FROM TIKONA EVER as they will go to any extent to make money.
