Whats the procedure to change from WIFI to regular modem? some time back i opted WIFI modem and now my situation is like falling from pan to fire.Its keep on disconnecting on me and its hampering my works. Noe i wanted to shift back to regular modem.Whats the procedure ?

hello guys,

 

I have BB HOME COMBO ULD 800 plan and i am a frustrated gamer using BSNL Broadband as their are no other option available in Patna. 

I am facing Request timed out (RTO) problem from last 3 months. I play Dota 2 and this shitty RTO disturbs my each and every game. RTO occurs in every 5-15 mins and can last from 30 sec to 2 mins.

 I do not have any ping problems as you can see the below image of google pings. 

 

I use Belkin Modem Router N150 and dybr73J.png

I had been looking for someone to do the cleaning and polishing at home and had also collected a couple of pamphlets from news papers. Torrents btcache no more?

Hello everyone, first time poster here.

 

I am located in thane west and have been using 5net for about 3 months now.

The main reason i switched over to 5net  from my tata indicom adsl was the torrent speeds.

I always used to get 900kB/s fro popular torrents and even 7-8 MB/s for more popular torrents.

Later i discovered that it is due to BtCache/ CacheBT..

but since 2-3 weeks... i am not getting such high speeds on torrents. max i can go upto is 130-140kB/s (i.e my 1mbps UL plan)

BtCache/CacheBT no longer shows up in the peer list for the currently downloading torrents (as many of you might know.. this is a network caching cluster of fivenet which provides such amazing speeds... simply put.. local torrent caching)

 

i can see however that youtube still works good for 720 even 1080p videos(i.e youtube is still cached)

 

 

has fivenet stopped torrent caching??

any one else facing a similar issue?? 

a call to my lco got me this response "Everything is fine"

hi guys , i upgraded to a so called "4mbps" Plan , but iam getting max of 1.80 mbps in speed test because my line downstream to 2048kbps which means its a 2mbps connection , when i call exchange they say they can do nothing , its automatic and when i call SDO he says 950 plan is for 2mbps when i told them to check website , he agrees and says he will check the problem and does nothing at last called circle SDE , he says to check the speed via their server and tell and then told me to call at 11 am next day , and he told they checked and nothing is wrong from their side and i should get my line checked and blah blah , they dont work on online grievances

 

what should i do now ............... ??????

From being sane Citibank just become Insane. Previously while paying online with Citibank Credit Card was easy, just needed to enter the internet banking password in place of 3D secure. But now they have made OTP mandatory and OTP is not sent but we need to request from our mobile. I tried it twice and both the times (two different days) the transaction did not go through. So if we need to transact using citi cards, we need to shell out money for sms for every transaction and which anyways did not work for me. Tried contacting them thru twitter and found out that CitiBank India does not have any presence in twitter. Its like 90s

Condition of MTNL box in your society

Guys so frustrated with MTNL that I am starting a thread for MTNL box location in your society. I have uploaded this pic just now after several phone call to MTNL broadband guy, AM, SDO, GM & what not however no action is taken and broaband kepps coming anfd going off. This is the worst condition and water is dripping from top from a air conditioning duck.

I am also going to sent an email with this pic to the mtnl so called babus so that they can see what the hell is going on in my society.

 

Airtel speed sucks and they have fup but atleast in my society they have a decent box installed with proper wiring.Here you can see the MTNL wiring and the box does not even has a close lid.

 

If you guys have the same or the worse scenario do share you experience with the pic.

Does anyone here know about ion broadband? I saw their ad in Times of Navi Mumbai, but there was no mention of any plan. Just their CC number and their site http://i-on.in/. I guess they have a tie-up with SSV.

 

Since Hayai is taking a long time to complete their pending connections, thought about ion.

 

Their unlimited plan rates for 30 days, as mentioned by the CC exec, seem okay to me.

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will hold the additional charge of the Information and Broadcasting ministry during the indisposition of Priyaranjan Dasmunsi.

Dasmunsi had been admitted to the hospital following a heart attack last month. He shall continue to hold the rank of a Minister in the Cabinet, but without portfolio.

Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma will assist the Prime Minister in handling the I&B Ministry's affairs. Sharma had been asked to take additional charge as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting on October 18, 2008.

A communiqué was issued by President Pratibha Patil to this effect on the advise of Dr Singh, which said the PM will hold charge "during the period of indisposition of Dasmunsi or till such time he is able to resume his work as the Minister of Information and Broadcasting."

Tata Docomo 2G/3G connection Problem

Its been a month since I started using TATAT DOCOMO postpaid connection with rs 350 plan, which promises me 1GB 3G internet + 2G unlimited internet. But as soon I took the connection I realised that TATA DOCOMO internet connets once, stays on for 30 minutes and after that disconnects. It doesnt connect back for the entire day(How many ever times you try). The next day I either have to switch off/on or Remove/Reinsert my SIM to connect the internet back again. I have raised several complaints with Tata Docmo Customer Care regarding this. The solution they gave was to "IP Pooling issue for the entire of karnataka Circle, so Keep turning off/on the data to reconnect back and occasionally try switch off/on also". I am tired of turning off/on my data connection on my MOTOROLA ATRIX 2. My question is when TATA DOCOMO can't provide the service promised, why should I pay their postpaid bill? I feel cheated by this geasture of TATA DOCOMO. Please provide me valuable suggestion to file a Consumer Complaint regarding the same. Customer complaint numbers are 759078273, 381921313
