| Bsnl 750 Uld Plan Speed Changes? Posted: 08 Nov 2013 02:42 AM PST I am using BSNL broadband, I've used above 8 GB and according to the plan I should be getting 512 Kbps or 0r 0.50 Mbps.But when I am testing my speed I am getting 1.27 Mbps or 1300.48 Kbps.

| Posted: 08 Nov 2013 02:19 AM PST I was recently trying out a stock simulation game and was having profitable returns with it. I just want to know how much one should get in terms of profit , to make trading a profitable activity.
Lets say i buy 100 Rs worth XYZ stocks of 50 in number. AFAIK , the charges all include (1.5 RS - Brokerage fee + 0.155 Rs as Service tax ) 1.6554 Rs while buying
And while selling , lets say , the price of each stock went up by 10 Rs .. so total of selling is 5500 Rs.
So it calculates to
RS 1.65 Brokerage fee + Rs 1.375 as Service Transcation tax + Rs 0.17 as Service tax = 3.195
So total is 4.85 Rs
While the profit is 500-4.85 = 495.15 Rs
Is this correct ?
If that is true , then out of any profit i make , the charges will be <1% of the profit right ?
In the stock simulation i am selling stocks when they cross 3% than the original price , some at 5% or so. Is that a good trading ?
Is there anyother charges for holding stocks more than a day ? |

| ACT Broadband Bangalore Reviews Posted: 08 Nov 2013 12:31 AM PST Hello Readers, My name is Vivek Sinha Anurag and i am going to post some "great" work shown by Act Broadband. I applied for ACT Broadband 5 Mbps plan [its having cap value of 35GB after that speed will reduce to 256 kbps] by calling their customer care on 16th Aug 2011. I was surprised to see their lightening fast response as the representative came to my doorstep the very next day and on 17th Aug 2011 Mr Ashitt O.S. collected the money and documents and told me that withing 5 days i will get my connection and i even got sms confirmation that my request no is 142263. Now the real story started. Even after 6 days no one ever bothered to check my request so i called customer care [ 080-42840000] to remind them and i was told that i will get it withing next 2 days. I waited for next 2 days and called them again. I was surprised to learn a new technical term from them that they are "Uploading network" hence its taking time and soon i will get my connection. Since my work was getting affected because of their delay i applied for a BSNL connection too. Now today is 5th September and i am still waiting for the connection and to my surprise i got the BSNL broadband last week. I tried escalating this matter and asked the customer care for any high level contact and they said that i need to mail helpdesk@acttv.in. I emailed them but i got no response. Please note some points regarding ACT broadband before applying ACT broadband 1. They dont have nodal officer/appellate authority [against TRAI rules and i have already escalated this matter to TRAI officials with the help of pgportal.gov.in] 2. They have a customer base of 2500 users in bangalore and they are not able to manage even this small number. 3. They DO NOT PROVIDE STATIC IP [even if they claim to do so] 4. Their customer care service is useless. All you will losse is your balance by talking to them 5. They can "Upload network" [You can imagine the understanding capability of their technicians] 6. They are fast in collecting money but lazy in delivering service Final conclusion: To be on safe side stay away from them else you will suffer like me. Morning shows the day and even before using their service i am suffering. Don't know what will happen when i get the connection and i face any problem that time. |
| SC gives voters an option of ' right to reject' Posted: 08 Nov 2013 12:29 AM PST SC gave this landmark verdict, by giving an option to voters to reject a candidate. SC said its a democratic right of an individual to opt for 'none of the above', if they think that, none of the candidates are worth voting.
I think if more than half the voters opt for 'none of the above', there should be re-election. What are your thoughts on this verdict of SC?

Not much of physical exercise. Pure dieting, along with some occasional cricket and table-tennis I play as a hobby.
This is the diet plan I follow since the past few months and it's really working for me. One of my college professors asked for the plan, I just mailed it to him and thought that it would be a good idea to share it here.
Note that this has worked for me. It may or may not work for you. This diet plan may not be the best plan, or not even completely correct, but this is the one that has worked perfectly for me. All you people who are looking forward to shed some kilos, do give this plan a shot, it's worth it.
The Diet Plan:
Early morning (empty stomach, immediately after you wake up) - A glass of hot/lukeworm water with honey and lemon
Breakfast (strictly after bath) - A glass of milk with Britannia 5 grain biscuits or Marie Digestive (3-4 biscuits) with a banana/boiled egg/egg omelet
2-3 hours after breakfast - Fruits (avoid Chikoos and Bananas here). Apples recommended.
Lunch - Salad comprising of Cucumber and/or Tomatoes. 2 Chapatis without ghee and any traditional 'sabzi' or Dal. Have sprouts at least twice a week.
Evening snacks - A glass full of milk or a vegetable soup with some salad
Dinner (try to have dinner before 8:30pm) - Again 2 chapatis without ghee with any traditional 'sabzi' or Dal. Note:

I have so far invested in Fixed Deposit and NSC. Maximum interest earned there is 8-9%. I want to try with some other investment option which could earn me more interest compared to FD/NSC. I read on several websites that Mutual Fund "may" provide more returns, but they "could" be risky as well. So could anybody please explain how Mutual Fund work? How much could I earn at end of year if I plan to invest Rs 10000, either whole amount or monthly distributed? I have a beetel router with Airtel broadband.. Can anyone tell me how to wire it ? There is one more small connector box that has 3 ports.. phone & data on one end.. and line on the other. Router has line, lan1 , lan2, lan 3 etc.
ALso, what settings do I need to maintain for WAN interface in router ? Can anyone using Airtel please give a screenshot ? |
