- BSNL Broadband Tariff Hike Details
Posted: 13 Mar 2013 04:36 AM PDT So, I am sick and tired of the piece of shite modem that BSNL gave me. Manu suggested I should get something of my own.
I have a Buffalo Wireless Router so just a modem would suffice. Though I would not mind getting a combo device provided it has similar or better wireless coverage.
The Buffalo router works fine except for one room that is at the opposite far side of the house one floor above. So, it would be nice if that coverage problem can be solved as well?
That sad... My router is Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH. I am not sure if it can be made to work as a modem? Just saying. |
Seventymm Shopping User experiences Posted: 13 Mar 2013 04:34 AM PDT I placed an order for 2 sarees for my mom via Seventymm.com on March 3. Got a confirmation sms that my order has been shipped on March 4 via Quantium Courier for which a tracking number was provided. I tried to find a link online from where I could track my shipment but Quantium unfortunately provides nothing of that sort. Anyways since expected delivery date was 10 March so I was not worried. Yesterday I mailed Seventymm to check the order status. Today I found the local number of Quantium office and called them asking about my shipment. They said they have received my package but can't deliver as they have issues with Seventymm and have been asked by their superiors not to deliver any package received from them. WTF.
Now Seventymm has just 1 number and its impossible to connect to it. They have not responded to the mail sent yesterday. Have sent them a second mail as well. I also tried finding their other numbers but the ones I found are all dead or wrong. Both Quantium and Seventymm's offices are very far away so won't be able to make the trip today. Will try to collect the package from Quantium's office on Monday.
My Verdict: Don't order anything from Seventymm. |

Posted: 13 Mar 2013 03:22 AM PDT MS staff There was a pilot flying a small single engine charter plane, with a couple of very important executives on board. He was coming into Seattle airport through thick fog with less than 10m visibility when his instruments went out. So he began circling around looking for landmark. After an hour or so, he starts running pretty low on fuel and the passengers are getting very nervous. Finally, a small opening in the fog appears and he sees a tall building with one guy working alone on the fifth floor. The pilot banks the plane around, rolls down the window and shouts to the guy "Hey! Where am I?" To this, the solitary office worker replies "You're in a plane." The pilot rolls up the window, executes a 275 degree turn and proceeds to execute a perfect blind landing on the runway of the airport 5 miles away. Just as the plane stops, so does the engine as the fuel has run out. The passengers are amazed and one asks how he did it. "Simple" replies the pilot, "I asked the guy in that building a simple question. The answer he gave me was 100 percent correct but absolutely useless, therefore that must be Microsoft's support office and from there the airport is just a while away." __________________________________________________________ Is Windows a virus? No, Windows is not a virus. Windows does that, too Viruses will occasionally make the user suspect their system is too slow (see 2) and the user will buy new hardware Yup, that's with Windows, too Until now it seems Windows is a virus but there are fundamental differences: Viruses are well supported by their authors, are running on most systems, their program code is fast, compact and efficient and they tend to become more sophisticated as they mature So, Windows is *not* a virus __________________________________________________________ Note about Winblows '95 Windows '95 supports Plug 'n' Pray peripherals!!! ![]() ![]() __________________________________________________________ What's the difference between Bill Gates and Robert Tappen Morris, Jr. (the Internet Worm Hacker)?
