No Half Rate Calling Recharge for Vodafone Prepaid?

Earlier I had used Special voucher of Rs 71 to cut call rates by half for Vodafone prepaid. But now there is no half rate plans available.
Now VF to VF is 1.2p/s and VF to other is 1.5p/s. Its getting costlier. Besides new sim are having flat 2p/s plans.
 
Besides paying higher rates, I am experiencing call quality decreased. Can't hear from other side for most of calls. What's going on with Vodafone?

Windows 8 Stops Responding Once I Close And Open The Laptop Screen

I have an acer aspire laptop and had installed windows 8 2 months ago. Everything worked fine but once after working on laptop,I closed the lid and when I opened it, the laptop stopped responding. So after half an hour I pressed the power off button and again booted it ..It didn't boot and after 2 tries, windows automatic repair came on screen and attempted to repair it..but even that got stuck(talk about irony). 

 

So again installed a new legit version of windows 8 4 days back. Everything worked fine till tonight when after watching a movie ,I closed the lid and when I opened it again, the laptop stuck. Again pressed the power off button and when I boot it again, it stopped responding. 

 

What should I do?

the govts plans to have a biometric national id cards for everyone by 2010.In usa the real id act is facing fierce resistance as 20 states have signed legislation opposition this as well in UK as groups like defyid and no2id.THis national id card makes india a police state,mass surveillance society and blurs the difference btw nazi germany and india.
the supreme court has interpreted that we have the right to privacy which the national id card violates.Why isnt anyone doing to stop this.I contacted times of india ,cnn ibn,ndtv but got no reply?.


we already have voter id card,passport,driver license,ration card,pan card(similar to social security card in us.).EVen is usa the ss card is not to be used as a id card.why do we need a chip card?the only thing that i can think is abut control and monitoring us.
