I will suggest you to get ready for waiting and stuff if your connection won't work out as under time limit. Might be they will give you good service or may be not. Better don't disconnect current isp and check Reliance connection for 1 month then decide.

I have been away since many days guess why?




6 days network outage here lol...the day i commented here about 1 day downtime, net went again and came just now...i called like 15 times in last 5 days and finally got working again. I hope after commenting here internet will not go again :P

Btw in whole year, i can assume thats network outage problem(distribution box down) may be for 30-40 days(5-6times) in whole year? it happened here in 3 months first time tho...for 6 days.

Speed is same as before.

I tells about speed as i read thread that Reliance is not giving full 2 mbps or 4mbps speed and sharing it like with 8 or more. Here speed is full since start to now 2mbps up down~

Tata Sky DTH: Automatic deactivation

I was a witness to this bizarre incident yesterday. My friend says this happened earlier also.

He has a mega pack subscription for tatasky, and the subscription is valid upto May 2013. When he switched on the stb and tv after a gap of nearly three months, only ch100, the promotion channel was displayed. All other channels showed this message "you are not subscribed to this channel. Contact . . ." The help desk executive advised him to keep the stb on for activation. The box downloaded software upgrade and initialised - still no channel was displayed. Another call to help desk and a second activation solved the problem. The executive could not give any satisfactory explanation except repeating 'it happens'.

My friend said that he had faced the same earlier when he was away for about two months. He is convinced that TS deactivates the connection if one does not watch tv for extended periods and keeps the stb off without power.

This is a standard stb without internet connectivity. I refuse to buy his explanation that TS knows whether we are using the stb or not.

Explanations welcome.

so 24hrs a day it works on given 100% b/w.....or there is a catch here?
coz i'm using mtnl BB plan...that too is on 1:8 but never felt B/W issues on it...how is reliance in that matter..?

On one hand a certain politician spews venom against his fellow countrymen in numerous public rallies and goes scot-free. While on the other hand a regular young girl is not entitled to share her opinion even on a social networking site, although what she opines would seem perfectly logical to a lot many people. Next thing we know people are getting court notices for ridiculing Salman Khan's movies.

What is wrong with having an opinion? Or are we expected to tow the line of the great leaders of our country? I wish things were different in this country.

I was thinking yesterday night if India will embarrass themselves by not winning from the position they were in earlier in the day, but yeah that did not happen. For me the unexpected positive was the seamers picking up some wickets as compared to the English bowlers.
