Regularly, due to stupid competitors, ACT takes a hit.
Someone or the other cut the fibre cables and users like me are affected.

Infact i have called the local network configuring guys and informed them about ppl cutting ACT cables, looks like periodical inspections are to be carried out from your side to ensure uptime.

Another interesting innovation within the space is by Bangalorebased Notion Ink Design Labs, the makers of the Adam tablet.

The research and development team is creating a stylus technology, which will enable students to write on tablets the way one would use a pen and paper for writing or drawing. This includes making tablet screen rough or uneven to give a feel like a standard pad of paper. The firm is also working on a technology that will enable students to interface laboratory equipment with tablets and smartphones to perform experiments and do calculations.

The company hopes to release these technologies in the third version of the Adam Tablet within two years. "We believe lowcost tablets will become ubiquitous among students in the next two years," says Rohan Shravan, founder of Notion Ink Design. The use of tablets is also growing within academia. "We are very bullish on the wide scale use of tablets within the education industry.

As recently as two weeks ago. I came back home walking after a haircut, complaining its so hot & sunny. Had a bath and got ready to step out. But did not .... Because of heavy rains.
