Beetel 110TC1 keeps restarting Posted: 23 Jul 2012 02:54 AM PDT First make sure the cables are connected properly from the DP to your modem and from modem to the system. You may need to call the Airtel technician to repunch the wires in the DP.... also ask them to replace the cable and reconfigure the modem. I had a similar problem a few years back....and it would become ok before the technician visits....on one occasion he came immediately and found out what was causing the problem : a terminal box placed near the window was collecting rain water LOL Actually the rain was not falling on it but the water was flowing on the cable from above the window where it was exposed. |
Need suggestion for buying Car Posted: 23 Jul 2012 02:51 AM PDT Oh, but only the asta version is above 6L I think, I got a quote for Sportz for around 5.8L :D What do you say? |
Airtel has completely gone crazy. Wants a share in revenue from web services. #netneutrality Posted: 23 Jul 2012 02:41 AM PDT ISPs in America are trying to do something similar with Netflix. Google is also a target because of YouTube. But they are sensible enough not to ask for revenue sharing for services like Facebook and other Google properties. Airtel here sounds like a jealous SOB. Their main complaint is that online companies have valuations out of this world while they are struggling to cope up with the growing traffic. This is the same excuse MPAA and RIAA makes. You do not want to innovate? It is your fault completely. Do not blame others for your failure. Airtel is clearly making money on every MB of data transfer conducted by their customers. Whether it is on Edge, 3G or broadband. Online services on the other hand have to be extremely lucky to make money especially when they are offering their services for free. Airtel is crying because their business model is not as hip and happening as that of Google and Facebook. It's like a postman crying that he does not get paid a commission on checks that he delivers to your house from businesses you conduct. |
Calls by HDFC Agents for Personal Loans and Credit Cards Posted: 23 Jul 2012 02:39 AM PDT As mentioned in this thread http://broadbandforum.in/national-cu...m-sms-call/22/ I tried to lodge a complaint with Vodafone. Format is slight different with Vodafone (which I got right after few attempts), it is "COMP TEL NO XXXXXXXXXX;DD/MM/YY;HH:MM; Short description of complaint". Note that no spaces used between mobile number, time and date. Time in 24 hour format, and date with 2 digits for year. I got sms each time I sent message for complaint, saying it has registered my complaint and it would resolve in some 7 days. Then I got call from Vodafone CC saying that I would not receive any sms for marketing. I told him that I anyways dont get any such sms, problem is I get calls from some mobile numbers for Credit Cards and Loans. To this his reply was SHOCKING! He said install some app on mobile and block those numbers! I said Thank You very much, I am already doing this, and hung up. This is 2nd time Vodafone CC told me that they cant help, So I guess Vodafone/Mobile Operator can't help in these matter :( |

Appeal to @airtel_presence to launch broadband plans with > 150GB FUP limits Posted: 23 Jul 2012 02:16 AM PDT I migrated to 4mbps / 150GB plan......the 256 speed post fup is ridiculous but I am not downloading much so I hope not to exceed. |
Posted: 23 Jul 2012 01:50 AM PDT Quote: Used during observance of certain Hindu rituals. Government-owned shops in holy cities like Varanasi sell cannabis in the form of bhang. Despite the high prevalent usage, the law makes it illegal to possess any form of the psychoactive. However, this law is rarely enforced and treated as a low priority across India. Further, large tracts of cannabis grow unchecked in the wild in many parts of northern and southern India in many states such as West Bengal, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamilnadu.[44] Many states such as West Bengal, Tripura, and the North East have their own laws allowing cannabis, locally known as ganja. I wonder if it is illegal already with some exceptions based on time and place :| |
