Looks like even Airtel employee recognise this downward service trend. They acknowledged these changes. My modem is down from last 5 days. Even after 2 calls to them, it's not fixed yet.

Probably *registered* in Bombay, as it's Tata, but unlikely you'd get 6ms ping at a 1,200km distance. Granted, not entirely out of the question since I've seen 31ms to London from Tbilisi (about 3500km) but still not likely.

These are pretty good results. It seems that, unlike the links to Tata, the peering or wholesales links with Reliance and AT&T respectively are not congested, so I guess it's the luck of the draw as to what kind of results you'll get depending on which websites you visit/where you download from etc. In my case, I see worse pings when my traffic goes through Bharti but very good pings when my traffic goes through Tata and so on. YMMV.

Vodafone 3g plans in Kolkata

I was wondering if Vodafone slashed its 3g tariff in Kolkata.They had a 499 plan with 500mb limit and 500mins calls free.i wonder if that plan has been improved.any idea guys?

Confirmed: the Samsung Galaxy S III is still a disappointment and they should hang themselves, nay - they should hang their design team as well as their marketing department. Then they should all go to psychologists to get over their insecurities w.r.t. Apple and learn from other manufacturers on how to design a good solid phone.
