Cannot understand how desktop users will work on Windows 8

MS Project is not expanding or collapsing with the icon button

I have been using Project 2010. I also has the latest updates. But now It can no longer can expand/collapse groups of tasks using the +/- icon next to the task. It shows up, however when I click on it, it acts like I want to rename the task.

I don't know what I can do, please give me a reliable and foolproof solution on the issue please

Conditional formatting not getting updated automatically in Excel 2010

This was not the case when I was using my favorite office 2007. In it, whenever I used to try conditional formatting, it used to get reformatted even when the cell values change on account of formulae but in case of this Excel 2010, this is just not happening. Any help appreciated.

I had record a macro to generate a footer commencing from side to side a certain information in sequence typed into the footer in a blank word document in compatibility mode. I had open an innovative blank word document in compatibility mode. I run the macro. It places the convinced information in the footer into the body of the manuscript and not into a footer.
