Current Mango running WP7 devices to never see Apollo update Posted: 18 Apr 2012 03:18 AM PDT Guys this might be off-topic to ask but what would you rate as the minimum specs for running WP 7.5 (comfortably) and same for Android 4.0? SE and HTC are the only ones yet (in India) to run ICS on a standard 1 GHz processor, rather well. If you look for the mango counterparts, lumia/omnia are all clocking at and over 1.4 Ghz. So is the the WP extremely resource hogging? I mean we are still at sea whether 1.4Ghz will be "enough" for Apollo? |
HTC One X Ownership Experience Posted: 18 Apr 2012 03:13 AM PDT It's a completely different day here in Mumbai. The incident took place in a first class compartment, and today even second class passengers are getting into first class due to the disruption. So chances of theft is very high. One should be very careful in such situation. He was in the passage way where the movement of commuters is maximum. Fully agree that he should have been more careful especially today. |

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 02:58 AM PDT Sony has not yet announced the release of Sola, but I expect them to do so immediately after the initial euphoria of Xperia S dies down. XS has already dropped a couple of thousands off its initial price tag owing to competition with Galaxy S2. I expect Sola to be out in late May. Motorola has a decent service network, in most big towns. They do not have any flagship service centers like Nokia or Samsung, but have tied up with certain big brand service networks like Redington, etc which are also ASCs for brands like HP, Lenovo, etc. I don't think service would be an issue in most big towns. Motorola Mobility was bought last year by Google. No question of selling it now. On the contrary, there have been rumours of Google buying a stake in Huawei, esp for their networking products ! |
